I have a Godskin Stitcher +25 with blood affinity and repeating thrusts, and have dubbed it "The NPC Annihilator", because no NPC I've encountered can poise through the thrusts
Wow one of the most satisfying Malenia fights I've seen in a long time! Could be nice with something similar like dual spears, one with Repeating Thrusts and one with Black Flame Tornado for wake ups.
Glad you enjoyed it! That could work, Repeating Thrust to build the consecutive buffs and build stance pressure and BFT for wakeups with the aforementioned buffs.
@@magnolia549what is better, repeating thrusts or the default godskin stitcher Ashe of war, for a "naked" blade ? I mean the default (forgot its name) has a pretty good stance and some damage too.
It's not mandatory but the extra three seconds it gives you - for a total of ten seconds - provides enough breathing room so you don't need to rush in to land a hit and make silly mistakes you otherwise wouldn't have. In the long run, it's a net benefit due to the talisman's high up-time since you would want to cast BFB often.
Thank you, it's an honour to receive praise from you, haha! Your guide on Malenia was one I often referred to if I had trouble dealing with some of her attacks. Don't sweat it if it takes an hour or so, there were weapons like the Reapers and Thrusting Swords, where I struggled for close to three hours learning them since they weren't weapons I was familiar with.
@@magnolia549 oh no I was fighting her with a +0 blessed sword The fight was an hour long XD But I am glad to see my work be of aid to others, good luck tarnished! I look forward to seeing you again in the battlefield
Oh that's cool! When I first started practicing Malenia, I would often go in with a +0 Longsword to make the fight last long so I could internalise her moves and see how long I could focus before making a mistake. It was really fun!
Yeah that definitely sucks. I've never used powerstanced Colossal Swords so I'm struggling to use the Starscourge Greatsword on her and five minutes already feels too long, haha.
Will repeating thrust + BFB work well with a strength faith build? I am early game using the banished knights greatsword and have already done a play through with heavy thrusting swords.
You can use that combination with the BKG if you don't mind one-handing the greatsword from time to time. You lose out on the 1.5x STR bonus from two-handing but you get the Black Flame's lifedrain. So how and when you use it will depend on the situation like on bosses with bloated HP. E.g., Fire Giant, Placidusax, etc.
@@saamimons5644 I ended up going faith dex and using rogiers rapier. Works really well and is fun to use. I also have blood flame blade for roaming around the landscape.
It's unfortunate but the trade-off is this incredible buff that scales infinitely and only get stronger the more HP an enemy has. It's like Royal Knight's Resolve, you have to learn when to cast it.
I swear the running R2 of this thing pierce through entire zip codes. I immediately fell in love the first time I used it. So much I uploaded a messy fight using it. Check it out if you want to incorporate some risky dodges into your playstyle 😅 (like jumping over shi- or backstepping just because it looks cool) @anon4107

What a cool build and execution!
Thank you! :D
Ooh, with Old Lord's talisman. I rarely see people use that one. I only used it against Radagon and Elden Beast in my first playthrough.

Starting the New Year by just completely melting Malenia, GG
So cool, I really like this build I’ll have to try it out
Nicely done!
Man I need to start fighting her again, the last time was a battle of endurance, she wouldn't go down after an hour in the same attempt

Not for a very good challenge XD
It's PAINFUL being 40 minutes in and dying to waterfowl lmao

Very impressive, I like this a lot.

Stats and gear at 2:14. The starting class was Vagabond.
Very very nice

I think you will probably get more dps dual handing + flame art. But I am not sure, if you already tried the repeating thrust combination let me know

what body armor is that? its dope reminds me of bloodborne
Equipment and stats are at the end of the video.
That’s the only thing that sucks about black flame blade it does last long

whats your build if i can ask? im tryna do a godskin stitcher build but everytime i try its just barely average

how do you perform triple thurst you do at start
That's the "Repeating Thrust" skill, you can get the Ash of War from the Night's Cavalry on the bridge near Agheel Lake North in Limgrave.
is the skill of the weapon
