HOLY SHIT, i absolutely love this. They changed SO many things on the final release and I'm thankful they did. Carmelita stands out so much since she looks like a cartoon that came to life in the most horrific way possible and the way she speaks.. fuck. Thank god they gave her a voice actress with a smoother and less high pitch voice. Thank you so much for posting this.

3:26 I noticed that Carmelita's model in this build looks a lot more similar to her Japanese design. Both of them wear sneakers and have elongated snouts, as opposed to Carmelita's canon depiction of wearing boots and having a shorter snout. Here's a video of the Japanese Carmalita that's featured in the cutscenes: ua-cam.com/video/jbBdmL5twHA/v-deo.html My guess is that the model here was the original design, but was later reworked into one that had more feminine human proportions. High quality animation like the one featured in the Japanese release requires time, so I think what might've happened was that Sucker Punch had to ship all of the concept art of these characters that they had at the time to the animation studio and SP decided to redesign the character after the anime studio was well underway into production.

Are you the guy to talk to, to beg for a xdelta patch for this game? Us PS2 hardware guys are spoiled with the prepatched, and do it yourselfs. The emulation/pnach thing is just not an option for me.
