Yeah I think they made it so you have a chance to get the melee ability back instead of it just being granted. That or it’s a gradual recharge.
Hits with morte Carlo give melee energy. Kills have a chance to give your melee back entirely
Have you tried shooting them more?
Nerfed isn’t the right word, Monte Carlo giving you melee back after every kill was a glitch or bug and they patched it shortly after the video was released if I remember the timeline correctly.
I feel like this video was made for me and me alone, because Monte is my favorite gun of all time. So thank you for making this clearly for me and no one else in demonstrating how good Monte Carlo is.

It's an AR with a giant knife but has no unique melee animation for it rendering this weapon completely pointless. Why would you want this waste of an exotic?

Frostbolt uploads full games at least, maybe he plays like 50 games to get a lobby of noobs for a video but I doubt it.
Answer: Look at their playtime. I've been playing for a year, have almost 1.3k hours total, and my highest kill PvP weapon is ace at like 4k. Finally starting to feel like I'm slightly above mediocre. Some of these guys have thousands of hours in the crucible, and have more kills on their special weapons (often several different ones) than I have TOTAL.
Frost uses the Crucible kill-tracker emblem most of the time, and it shows that he has over 430,000 kills last I saw just a couple days ago. He doesn't really **need** outtakes.
