Man victor screwed me hard that being said when i beat victory it looked like an anime battle with the amount of perfect parries and timings because my build is a tiny status spear/dagger though it can help so much applying any status is about 1200-2k dmg while walking away but victor being how he played made it rough in comparison to the others
I’m enjoying this game more than I did Elden Ring. The combat is so satisfying. As a sweeper, the attacks are so devastating and the sounds they make sound like you’re just tearing a new asshole on enemies and bosses. Elden Ring attacks don’t feel as satsifying. When you hit enemies in ER, you don’t really feel like you’re doing that much damage. But in Lies of P, you feel so powerful.
Loved how you noticed the ergo whispering after finishing a record! I also noticed a relation to ergo with the shrine statues at the cathedral. I heard praying is a good first step. =D
Tbh I think it would've been amazing if they got someone to do a Macho Man Randy Savage impersonation for Victor's voice. Just imagine getting killed and hearing "OOOOOHHHHH YEAHHHH IM THE CREAM OF THE CROP YEAH"
One weapon i would recommend is the explosive pick handle with the bone cutter blade. It gives you incredible reach and damage without sacrificing too much speed
Ive been utilizing the bone cutting blade and dancers curved sword handle, although it doesnt have too much reach, its got a very satisfying and fast charged heavy

The system is really cool, when bosses or enemies do their red attacks, you can parry them and it will break their poise a very large amount. You could do a strong parry/ break build and fuck shit up. In this run you usually dodge rolled away like a souls like, but in your next run try to parry more like sekiro, it’s fun as hell dude.

The cat is letting you pet it now because you're becoming human. I liked that little detail when I was playing through this section of the game. I went all lies though for my first playthrough. You've been doing kind of a mix. As a side note, apparently, if you want to do a full truth run, which would be the pure puppet run you also have to get all of the riddles wrong, they count towards your humanity, also don't get any of the records. But I think your run is actually more on the lie side at this point because of some of the choices you've made.

Hey Myth just found this out on my playthru but that body of the puppet strung up way back on the bridge where you save your dear sweet Pa-pa from donkey guy has a key and a note in it showing you some **secret treasure** just throw something at it and it'll drop the item
He whooped my butt I was able to beat the king without as many attempts this game is much harder than I expected. The difficulty spike after this boss is crazy!
This was such an easy boss for me. Fallen Archbishop Andreus was so much harder for me than this boss and that’s like the first semi hard boss you fight. I think it’s because Champion Victor’s attacks are very well telegraphed and they are extremely easy to dodge. Hell, I thought his second phase was even easier than his first.
myth you should try to assemble different weapon with different handle. the handle will give it a different speed and moveset and will also change the spec, so many good combination you should try messing around with it
I was trying to parry victor but realized you can just run away from him lol. After that he was pretty easy. Honestly his second phase was easier than the first. Second phase has a lot more of attacks where he has a lot of recovery and you can get in a lot hits

The long nose becomes a weapon if you follow the correct steps. But you need to grab it before you start ng+ after the final boss. The game asks you if you want to start ng+ or wait (like dark souls)
The trident is the best weapon I’ve gotten an it’s not even close. Beat victor first try w my specter alive, if anyone sees this my technique is barely over 20 an I only used the +3 trident. Easy claps
I mean, I use specters too, I just decided after the bishop that I don't like the bosses, using this game's mechanics, but the game is still fun, so I want to finish it; but when you say "me and my specter did fine", that kinda kills the hype of a weapon. Don't get me wrong, it's fine to use summons, even in games like ER where they're unnecessary, but can be fun; but using them, comes with accepting that it's a very diminished accomplishment (though still AN accomplishment, GG). Trident IS a great weapon though!

Sorry to say but you have lost a lot of the records and songs by telling the truth and missed a side quest before the puppet's king. You can get a few more by buying on merchants and others will be by telling the truth, but not many.

Color scheme kinda reminded me of Solomon Grundy from Batman Arkham City.
Victor felt like a tanky normal enemy when compared against the puppet king.
I've also been enjoying the scythe a lot.

God Victor was fun to fight. I did die more than a few times but the deflection timings on most of his attacks didn't take too much time to learn.
