Thanks for sharing this Steve. I’m looking for inspiration for small knobs on my tool cabinet. Your skill level is unquestionable the way you use that skew! I’ve become your latest subscriber. Scott
Folks that don't appreciate this, should try it for themselves. No excuses, they must be identical because they are inches away from each other.. I venture into the knob(by) business sometimes, and end up make some fine wood kindling for my wife to start her nightly fires with. Nice job as usual Steve, thank for posting.
Greetings from Canada! I've been watching your videos for some time now Steve, and they never fail to amaze me! For the longest time I wouldn't even look at my skew chisel, but since watching your videos, I've summoned the courage to start using it and the first few catches notwithstanding, I'm really starting to understand why you use it so much. What a fantastic tool! Thanks again, cheers!!
Super job, as always. How did you get the Sorby chuck on an RS? A custom-made back-plate? Custom thread adaptor? Or is there an off-the-shelf solution? Cheers, Steve
Lol! Yes Dave it has been said. I see you’re at the NEC for makers central I live 20 mins away, we normally go away for bank holidays but if we don’t I might be able to visit.

Excellent! I must try this for my dollhouse furniture and miniatures that make. Just curious ... What kind of wood are you using?
These were made from Oak

Finesse at its best. Tommy
Thank you Tommy
What type of wood is that? Doing my research as I need to make some handles for 1/12 scale models.
These were made from Oak, I used oak as this is what was required but if it doesn’t matter use a close grain timber like Beech
Again another brilliant demonstration of control, just curious, how fast was the lathe going?
It’s approx 1300 rpm, the camera is deceptive and even makes it look like it’s going backwards.
Elegant.

Thank you
Lol has anyone done the joke about the little knobs yet? 👍🍺

I didn't realise the size until close to the end.
