I've been listening to your music for years (you've consistently been in my Spotify Wrapped year after years) and I absolutely love the evolution of your sound! I can't wait for this album
Regardless of (this is not a jab at you btw) whichever musical genres and sounds you choose to explore, I'm always just happy to see you making music. I feel like some people are forgetting that not every song or album is one that will resonate with them, even from their favorite artist. Thank you for the music always 🔥
what a feeling: drum pattern and bass patterns are in lockstep - also, how "swishy" the hats sound right before the 1 minute mark is something i've not heard.
This era of Machinedrum is so mid compared to everything he did up to Vapor City Archives. Just unrecognizeable and underwhelming boring releases that try to appease the glossy veneer bubble gum pop of Hospital Records or something else radio friendly. Its audible insecurity. No soul, no rhythm, no layering, no polyrhythms or syncopation, almost no groove or any of the advanced chord progressions he usually does, no high tier sound design or anything aggressive. Just throwaway trash even by jungle standards this sounds like every other happy jungle track that has come out in the last 30 years and MD is literally doing this on purpose coasting in 1st gear lazy mode. So sad
Hey, I respect your (somewhat disrespectfully worded) opinion. I personally love everything I've been doing recently and put 100% of my heart, soul and energy in to it. I'm so happy that my older music resonates with you more than the music I've released in the past 10 years. Thats totally ok. Just know that theres a human on the other side of this and that words can hurt, even from a stranger. I hope you have a great day.
@@machinedrum Thank you for continuing to make music, exploring, sharing and putting 100% of your heart. Without a doubt, Vapor City is an incredible work and is already a classic for many of us, but I agree that is no reason for people to express themselves like that about what you do. Remember that there will always be people behind the screens and monitors who forget that those who make and produce music are also people who seek to give their best. I know that your sound now sounds fresher and that is good, although those of us who listen to you also like darkness, we will continue to receive and listen to what you do with great affection. May 24th arrive now!
@@gonseniisha Thanks for your thoughtful reply! I think people tend to forget that there is a human element to all of this and we are more than just text and an avatar. Have a blessed one x
@@machinedrumman- forget what negative people saying, this is one of my fav tracks from you and I’ve been a big fan of you since 2005 and BIDNEZZ. Your progression and growth as a musician is amazing. So consistently dope. Was super hyped when we kicked it in the studio with Yo Majesty circa 2007. Missed my chance to collab with you, ha! Keep following your gut and pushing limits.
Summer album inbound. Thanks for the vibes already on the early releases!

I'm a big fan but these latest releases are not memorable.
