Alchemist has such a good attitude towards newer trends and artists and it explains why he’s been at the top of the game for so long. Such a calm dude I get why they call him Uncle Al.

People really don’t understand how difficult it is to interview people, especially live. The fans take it forgranted since they’re used to seeing Anthony post videos all the time but people need to realize that those videos are just him alone talking to a camera. It’s an entirely different skillet to interview someone else

Alchemist IMO the most prolific producer right now. Sure he's been in the game for a while, but it's been a while that I've seen a producer working with so many artists, crafting multiple sounds for all of em and still having so much left to explore. He's to hip hop right now what Kaytranada and FlyLo/Thundercat were 7-8 years ago, and Madlib, Dilla before that.

Alc brought up a really good point there at the end about the Pharell x Timabaland era of superproducers.
I feel like back then it was about providing a distinct sound that was radio-ready and automatic for school dance & club-type pop music and now looking at mumble rap it's more of an aesthetic and artist just rides the beat (not all, but most). I like both eras of production, but it's just crazy how producers are capable of shifting the culture from beneath our feet.

Al genuinely has to try to disappoint me hes by far the most consistent producer ive listened to. for him to stay as consistent as he has along with the sheer amount of music hes produced in that period is insane its quality in large quantities. the sampling is incredible too hes one of the best samplers if not the best right now. cant wait for the new stuff he puts out.

Talking from the perspective of a Greek guy that loves hip hop. obviously English is not my mother tongue and because of this I cannot get all the lyrics and especially all the cultural references or sayings of an American rapper. Because of this GENIUS is the best thing that ever happened for me for in hip hop. Just imagine that if it was not about that, I could have never been able to love and understand the genious of MF DOOM or other rappers that have such dense lyric, because I would have never been able to dissect them..
By the way, Alchemist should have scolded you for putting a 7 in Bo Jackson... Album of the year so far easily!!!
P.S. I have not heard the new KA's album yet so give me a break if KA's is better.

To name a few Jadakiss "wo gonna make it", prodigy "the type", Freddie Gibbs "scottie beam", Freddie gibs "something to rap about", Wiz Khalifa "universal studios", action broson "tropical storm Lenny". The best part is he's only getting better, top 3 of all time for sure.
