Satpal Ji A perspective to understand & internalize. There is a similar story - At the end of the Mahabharat, when Krishna was leaving he offered a boon to Kunti Devi (mother of Pandavas), and she asked for sufferings and pain. Krishna turned backed and asked, "Isnt this enough, you still want more sufferrings?" Kunti said ‘In all my sufferings, whom did I think and pray? You. Every time, you came and supported me, guided me. If there were no sufferings, am I going to think about you? You are not going to come by my side. I believe that suffering is the route to attain You!’
Thank you for showing the actual Gurbani ang. One common criticism I see for Nanak Naam (mainly on r/Sikh), is that they don't use Gurbani to back up their statements.
very good points especially one's interpretation of the event causes suffering, its taught in current psychological DBT models. one thing the west hasn't caught on to is the five thieves and our degrees of pursuit for them. very good.
The only person besides Bhai Ranjit Singh who's actually trying to help you literally reach enlightenment with simple implementable practical advice. Great stuff.

I am always in a dilemma. I am an Indian however I m willing to go to Canada but one thing always stress me that is will I be able to wake up at amrit wela there and I hv heard that people go to gurudwara at weekends only bcz places are far away from each other. And a Sikh is supposed to go to gurudwara daily ..listen to the hyms in the sangat.. so what should I do? Is someone liberated going to gurudwara at weekends if he or she gets up at amritwela daily?
Kama , krodha, lova , Moha , Ahenkar are not dukh dukh depends on the connection whith them , dukh is misunderstanding of life and absence of Gyana ( knoladge ) . Every thing is dukh is a wrong statement - because the desire to be desire less is make you free from suffering .
