This was perfect for So Hyang since she has said that her goal is not wealth but to comfort those going through hard times, as she has done. She's a cancer survivor at age 20 and has had hep-C and numerous bouts with pneumonia of some form. She has turned down record deals so that she has the freedom to go where God leads. So Hyang is a devout Christian and gospel singer from South Korea. In her early and newly married, she was diagnosed with early stage uterine cancer, which left her unable to have children. After being healed by God and her doctors, So Hyang's goal has been to use her voice to bring comfort to people who are experiencing difficult times. She IS NOT motivated by either money or fame and remains very humble. She has rejected numerous offers from major record labels. In addition to being a published author of several fiction books, she lectures about singing and vocal techniques at a South Korea university.
So Hyang, her husband, and some assistants arrange every aspect of her live performances; the music, backing vocals, staging, lighting, etc.

I have seen this performance hundreds of times and it still gets me. Notice how So hyang sings with every inch of her body. She squares her shoulders and gets her feet strait below her shoulders for support. She is the only artist I’ve ever seen that actually gives more than 100 percent of herself without fear of an off note or a crack of voice. her confidence level is off the chart. She just goes for it, and that fearlessness is so much a part of her power for me. She is by far my favorite singer and much more.

Alison, well, that was different from "Arirang" wasn't it? The single most consistent quality of Sohyang's performances is her total investment in her delivery. It may vary depending upon the genre, but she is a storyteller and loves to sing to us. That's why she performs Live. here in "Bridge", sweet Sohyang sings with everything she has. If you aren't left breathless at the end, you must have left the room. She will amaze you every time. You have done two. There is a world of her music left to go. Enjoy.

This event was in 2015 when the PHENOMENAL So Hyang was 37 years old. She is now 46 years old. Not only is she aging in reverse, but in 2024, she sounds better than ever, if that's even possible.
Trust and believe, you have just witnessed a small sample in the flexibility of her voice. So Hyang's vocal range is RIDICULOUS and EFFORTLESS. Her breath control is INSANE.

Sorry to disappoint you but Bridge Over Troubled Water was not by Elvis, he just did a popular cover of it. The song was written and released by Simon and Garfunkel, a pop folk group January 1970. Elvis's cover was on his December 1970's album. Elvis was my mum's favourite singer. I can still remember the records played when I was a kid. Love me tender and Blue suede shoes were her favourites and Teddy bear. This was back in the 1970's so he was huge at that time.

This is a Korean song with several lines in English. The composer and original singer is 박효신 (Park, Hyo-shin), a South Korean. Park chose to name it in English instead of Korean. "Home" is translated to Korean as "집" which means "house". I feel "house" doesn't convey the same personal meaning as "home", and that's why Park chose "Home".

When I saw how chopped up this edit was, I had to stop watching. You may have had no choice but it's not something I find worthwhile to watch for whatever reason it was done for. I'll try back on another video when you don't have to chop parts out of the performance.

So, did this video match the criteria for clickbait? We were promised a reaction to Sohyang singing BOTW, and that's what we got. The song was originally by Simon & Garfunkel, but among many covers, the one by Elvis was one of the most popular, and the version with which the reactor was familiar. So the attribution in the video title was perhaps not the one that most people would expect; but neither is it incorrect, exactly, with S&G also being credited. So, not really deceitful, and nor did it make a difference to the content, beyond the lady speaking of her connection to a movie that was made about him, which was a nice detail.
However the main event was the song and the singer, which elicited a very emotional response from the reactor. So no, not really _click bait!_, was it?
