Thank you so much Toni. Since you are asking, I will work on more like this. It’s quite tricky to make room for samplers in dense musical context. The most important thing is to not be afraid to filter lows, since there’s already a « wall » of low-end established already with the band. 2nd tip is to filter highs for the samples to blend with the band and not feel like something is added on top. Samplers usually take the full range of frequencies, so that’s our job to tuck them in the mix! Hope that helps! 🙏
