There was a time when great masters like Onkar Nath Khakur, Narayan Rao Vyas, Vinayak Rao Patwardhan and Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Sahib used to perform Shabad Kirtan at the Golden Temple during their visits to Amritsar, but since 1947 we have narrowed or approach. Now no non practicing Sikh performs Kirtan there. This is our bad luck. Pandit Ayoi Chakraborty's rendition was great.

Sir you are absolutely correct. Sikhism meant to be inclusion of all mankind, nowadays SGPC does not allow any non sikh, who is a master of classical raags, to recite holy shabads. Even the Gurus did not do this type of discrimination.
Aahaha.......What soulful rendition.....no phrasal adjectives are left to praise this recital..........listening to it eyes closed gives a glimpse of Dasam Pita instantly.........takes the soul to heights..............feels like going into the infinite..............I don't know whether i am right or wrong.............but i feel that when we listen to this, its as if we ourselves are singing in the glory of Dasam Guruji..........so absorbing, esctatic, enlightening......this happens only when one is immersed deep into the meanings of Gurbaani and experiencing it while singing........Panditji is doing exactly that...........Tears are running down my eyes and i feel like breaking all bonds and clinging to the feet of the Lord.
We need this standard for raagies. But they are convoluted some other things. If by learning in foreign universities and then teaching to native people in those universities we feel proud, why our sikh raagies are not interested in learning music from great Indian masters. It may be possible they can bring this art into their own domain.
