- Pt. Ajay Chakraborty ji performing Raag Miya ki Todi for Komal Nishad. This performance was organized in March 2007, where Pandit Ajay Chakraborty ji performed with Shri Indranil Bhaduri on the tabla and his disciple Shri Brajeswar Mukherjee on the Harmonium. This is a very memorable concert for Vadodara audience who still fondly talk about it.

Pt Ajayji, sincere Namaskar. But, my sincere opinion, wish, creating capable artists was that easy. Else, St Tukaramji’s son could have become another Tukaram. Here, I don’t want to talk about our greatest of artists, so used St Tukaramji’s example,our greatest Saint.The Almighty is the only one who decides. We have many examples of great artists who unfortunately couldn’t make it. I love this forum for their endeavour to push forward our upcoming artists. Hope you and this forum succeeds. Am being selfish,being just a kaansen. Be it. My sincere Namaskar to you both. ..

“गंज शकर के लाड़ लड़ैया”
गंज शकर मुलतान (पाकिस्तान) के पास एक जगह है जहां के सूफ़ी बाबा फ़रीद थे. हज़रत निज़ामुद्दीन औलिया उन्हीं के शागिर्द थे ., सन्त फ़रीद हज़रत निज़ामुद्दीन औलिया से बहुत लाड़ लड़ाते थे यानी बहुत प्यार करते थे . इसीलिए निज़ामुद्दीन औलिया को “गंज शकर के लाड़ लड़ैया “ भी कहते हैं .
