    You need a different cruisetec for the rear. The load rating of 74w is not for the Roadglide you need the 80H. I fitted the 74w and the bike was everywhere as the sidewalls were not strong enough for the weight of the glide. Metzeller do the crusietec 80H Reinforced for the Roadglide

    I just learned it’s much easier to remove rear shocks to remove the rear wheel. Gives access to the swing arm without removing exhaust!

  • @amberbali8881
    @amberbali8881 2 роки тому +3

    Or, you can take out the lower shock bolts and let the wheel drop down to remove the axle. Reinstall, reattach shock bolts, adjust belt. Then lock left side axle using a third hand tool (cheap on ebay) and an off set 36mm axle wrench with the torque wrench attached at a 90* angle. Less hassle

    I ride pretty hard on my FXLRS, changed brake pads around 12k I’m at 14k now, just ordered a set of Galfers to help me handle high speed maneuvers, along with a easy pull clutch and brake lever kit. Hopefully those do the trick! 120/120 hp/tq ain’t no joke on these machines.
    128 soon to come as well, saving up for it now.
    Let me know how the rotors do!

    Rotors look cool and look like they'll dissipate the heat well. I will be needing new tires soon on my 19 limited so I'm curious to see how those tires are. I love my parelli night dragons on my 08 fatboy and was going to go with them but I'll stay tuned for the review on those tires.

      @@DOOWORKPRODUCTIONS question about your Galfer front rotors. If I punch in the part number you posted on you video, Front - DF835CW-B, Galfer website says it won’t fit my 2019 Street Glide Special, even though I have the exact same wheels you have on your road glide. Any suggestions? And where did you order your rotors from?

    • @DOOWORKPRODUCTIONS
      @DOOWORKPRODUCTIONS  Рік тому

      @@dougpeterson4804 I got them from a local shop near me. If you have the same wheels as me, you will want to go with the part number I provided. Most likely their website is thinking you have the standard wheel which would have a different rotor.

    Front tires should last twice as much as the rear. Very low mileage on the front to wear out. You check your air pressure much. Should get at least get 25k on the fronts.
