    Oh you going to love the cot..I love my SP cot, I need to purchase another one.
    I only have 153 subscribers but I enjoy making our video and show who ever watches our video how enjoyable to be out in nature. We are promoters of the outdoor.

      Glad to hear you’re enjoying the cot! The simplicity of the design and assembly is pretty awesome. Can’t wait to try it out next weekend camping. I think the best part of making these videos is exactly what mentioned. We may not have the highest number of subscribers but it still can make difference and help people!

    For the cot, you should still use an inflatable pad with it… both for comfort and for extra warmth.

      I was curious if the Ofuton sleeping bags would provide enough cushion without a pad, but haven’t tried it yet. Thanks for the tip on the mattress!

    Love your videos, man! Thanks for taking the time to film, edit, and share your thoughts about the gear you use. How long does it take you to set up the Alpha Breeze by yourself?

    • @rtmadani
      @rtmadani  4 місяці тому +1

      Hey, thank you so much! The Alpha Breeze goes up pretty quick, I’d say around 10min with staking. The rain fly is large and takes a minute to orient the right way and get over the tent, but other than that the rest is easy for solo setup.

      @@rtmadani Thanks for the response, Ryan! Very much appreciated. I got a great deal on the Alpha Breeze and was curious what to expect. I'll eventually upgrade to the solid steel stakes. Do you think #20s will suffice or should I do #30s?

    • @rtmadani
      @rtmadani  4 місяці тому

      @@OvertrailGX Nice! Hope you enjoy the Alpha Breeze. I've been using the #30's for all my tents and it's probably the most versatile for different ground types. In tougher ground, the 20s would be okay, but in grass or anything somewhat soft, I'd suggest the #30s. You could also use the #30s for the corners and mix some #20s for other sections.

    The cot is even better with the ExPed mat on it. 😉

    I have also have the same chair and table. I love them. But, I have lower back pains after sitting a while on the chair, so I think it needs some support definitely for the lower back.

    Congratulations! Quick question, can you fit two futon sleeping bags on the exped duo mattress or is it too wide?

    What’s the initial impressions for the luxury low chair as compared to the regular low beach chair that has a slightly higher back that you have? When I first saw the luxury low chair I always thought well the regular one with a higher back is going to be more comfy and it’s cheaper too. But a lot of campers in Japan have the luxury version and it must have some merit or reasons why it’s so popular! I think I saw a video where the person said the lower back version has a slightly different lower back angle and the lower seat back allows for better movement when trying to get things while seated etc. please share any initial reactions when you can. Thanks!!

    • @sanpostudios
      @sanpostudios 4 місяці тому +1

      Yes! The LLC is more comfortable due to the different incline of the back rest, as well as the added ease of movement. They also pack a bit smaller!

    • @rtmadani
      @rtmadani  4 місяці тому +1

      I also noticed the different incline angle and personally like the way it feels. The slight height difference definitely changes the overall feel, as the higher back version sinks in more towards the middle of my back. I’m taking the chair out this weekend, so I’ll test out further during the trip. The smaller pack size is always favorable in my opinion as well. I’ll have to get a full review demonstrating the differences between the two chairs. Thank you for your comment!

    How do you like the ofuton sleeping bag? I want to buy two so I can connect them together. My fiance hates traditional mummy sleeping bags so this seems like a good fit. Do you think two of them fit on top of the exped megamat duo 10 long wide?
    I am also worried about the temperature rating because I tend to be cold…. I wonder how it compares to your previous sleeping set up.
    By the way, congrats on becoming ambassador. You’re the reason I bought the alpha breeze tent :)

    • @rtmadani
      @rtmadani  3 місяці тому +1

      We're actually going to try zipping it together with the exped duo 10 lw on our next trip, but so far after using them individually, they've been really comfortable unlike traditional sleeping bags. They'll definitely fit zipped together on the Exped, but will hang off the side of the mattress. The drawback with a bag this wide is more cold air can enter, however, at 38 degrees F with a Pendleton throw blanket inside it was really nice. I like our previous sleep system with the Sijo sheets and Pendletons for nights in the mid 40s. Any colder we bring several blankets along. Although the ofuton bags are quite big as well to pack, so I suppose I'm not saving space. The ofuton system is simpler and quicker to setup and I'd say for extra warmth, the sleeping bags paired with a blanket and the exped is a great way to go.

      Looking forward to your next video! There aren’t many reviews on the ofuton sleep system. I like the simplicity and I can see it being used at home as well
