Nothing behind the grill. if you want a real professional clean look then yes, i recommend removing the bumper / grill to get the least over spray. But for me I don’t really care much about this car.. it’s my daily so a little over spray in there doesn’t cause any harm.
I’d say prepping is key. If you don’t mind a matte black grill, all I used was masking tape ( just tape off the areas you don’t want painted), rubbing alcohol to clean the surface that’s going to get painted and just plasti dip off Amazon 👍🏻
