Here is a tip for fighting the ice giants.
Never use melee units that are not big enough (in value) because if you do chances are they will get 1 shotted. you need big range units against the ice giant. The only moment when you would use a big melee unit if its something like the tree giant because it can do some damage and can survive some hits
From looking at the thumbnail I could tell this is gonna be a slaughter.

Speaking of west of loathing, I came up with an untested strategy. I am pretty sure you can summon the bean shield as the beanslinger where ever you want on the floor, so summon it in front of cap's partner. Then use the partner to build wall in front of you. I call it the fortress technique.

i think the void cultist is a fine enough unit by itself, with a decent healthpool and respectable damage.
but where i think he really shines is when he supports other units. his sword vacuum ability works really well with aoe damage-centered units such as the mad mechanic, the infernal whip, and the tempest lich.
FYI how the shadow walkers work is that they teleport to the enemy farthest from them not just the backline. So if you put a shadow walker on the far right of the map he may teleport to an enemy unit on the far left of the map instead of the backline where you intended him to go

Bro, Cap, you underestimate the power of the Pike. I put 4 up against an ice giant, AND THEY WON. They do like 300 damage a hit with their pikes, and then can fight a little afterword's as a peasant, they're REALLY power full
