Whether it be honour, or religion or freedom or fighting for a better future, EVERYBODY is somehow touched by this in one way or another. These women love their husbands. They just want them to know that. Be a decent human being. If you can't shut up and listen, then don't watch at all.
Well I come from a place which war is a daily thing , And we live in an inimical area that hates us and being a Threat for our lives, Every day another person being killed for nothing ... people in the south of the country are actually living in their shelters. And you know what ? I'm proud of our urmy, because this soldiers are risking their lives to protect me and my family . These women should be proud, Their husbands are heroes. there is a big difference between a hero and a murderer :)
I fully agree that these people deserve to share their pain, and I respect these ladies. I would find it way more sincere if they hadn't been made to sing a song directly copied off of another artist. I know people are very sensitive about this subject, as am I, but I won't be made to feel bad about stating my opinion.

You need to think. There is clear justification for occupying Afghanistan and Iraq - allowing a terrorist haven to flourish is jepordising security of this country, I've seen this with my own eyes. Our presence there is saving lives, despite what you think I have seen first hand the brutality of the taliban and Iraq under Saddam Hussein. The people of these countries have been better off since our occupation. Hundreds of liberated people dancing with joy around Saddam's fallen statue do not lie.
It's aggravating how they constantly throw this sentimental bullshit at us and expect us to buy it. It's kind of like that Kony video that went viral, everyone instantly went weak at the knees all because they watched an emotional, hard hitting video, knowing next to nothing about the actual situation. As long as they bombard the general public with soppy crap, they'll keep them from thinking too hard about anything. Thankful I'm not the only one who sees this though, feels like it sometimes. :)

I'm an ex squaddie and I can tell you now, the terrorist networks that exist to damage your perfect little world here in the West are very much active - the soldiers are very much fighting for our safety and wellbeing. Humanitarian work is very much what we train to do...so please enlighten me with your breaching of humanitarian laws...it seems to me its you who read too much...
