    Beautiful derivation! I'm on my way to build a boost converter for some electrostatic experiments, this will be of great help!

    *_Summary Of The Video :-_*
    *Self Inductance Of A Long Solenoid*
    * Self Inductance does not depend on voltage or current.
    * Inductance only depend on geometry and the material inside the inductor in free space.
    * More number of turn in the coil gives more inductance.
    * On increasing length of an inductor , inductance decreases.
    * Inductance also depend on permeability of free space.
    If we use a ferromagnet inside an inductor in free space then it's inductance get increases.

    I have a doubt sir, what is the current that is punching through this surface in this loop (Ampere's circuital law), I am not able to visualize it...

    Why B.dl outside is 0 ? Pls explain

    • @manos1779
      @manos1779 3 роки тому +1

      Because approximately No B field outside the solenoid.

    • @anshik.k.t
      @anshik.k.t 3 роки тому

      Because it is. Like in practicals there is negligible magnetic effect. So it is how it is

    • @ghostnotbedsheet
      @ghostnotbedsheet 2 роки тому

      Because, apparently, there's no magnetic field (B) outside the solenoid which , ofc, means B=0 and therefore B.dl = 0 ( 0 times any number gives 0)
