They should make evolutions 1 extra elixir as a trade off for getting that extra power. Would also make losing interactions like arrows taking down the evo archers and firecracker not be so broken

It's mathematical error. If 1 troop had 100 HP and gets upgraded 3 times, the HP would be incorrect mathematically speaking, so they take the closest part of it
when i saw you guys discussing that evo archers wont get countered by regular arrows, i thought up of a arrow evolution quickly; 20 second uptime, area is the same as arrows but will only activate once a sizeable enemy army comes in, if not then it will release immediately to whatever's in there (2 circles, inner circle is what you see, outer circle is the detection circle with a countdown timer to ensure more enemies go in the inner circle). it's duration is increased by .5 seconds and an increased damage buff by 8% (x1.08)

Cards like evo archers is what makes the game way more interesting, it has a direct way of defending it, drop troops close to it and need to cycle twice but it is also very power IF USED CORRECTLY, REQUIRES THINKING!! That's what makes this game fun, none of that brain dead crap.
This might actually be a balanced evolution, just seeing the gameplay in this video. They're not impossible to counter and might slot well into the meta. Well done Supercell.

Tornado will be a great counter/combo. As a counter, for making them closer to a target, so their double damage won't activate As a combo for push the target away to activate their ability
OJ, love the video & great volume of gameplay, but you guys flipped the power shot mechanic. the power shot is when tiles are at MOST 5 tiles away, & standard if more than that. if you watch the gameplay, when the archers are hitting the tower (from 6.5 tiles) it is doing standard damage.
Evos should’ve been a different system. Like you get 1 use per game or they cost most elixir to play the evolved version. That would limit every single deck just being fast cycle to accommodate evos

too complicated & sometimes u want the arrow to deal immediate damage (like to towers), fire arrows idea is better
