Loved this video drive. Thank you. I know I have chewed on you some about the auto tranny talk (bought a '19 RF auto) but as a long-time manual driver THIS VIDEO was a terrffic example of what makes manual driving fun. Way to go!
I want to buy a 1.5 ND2 or 1.5 ND3 I know the upgrades on the ND3, espacially on the rear preventing from oversteering on the entry and understearing on the exit. But is it really noticable on a 1.5 or is it only noticable on the 2.0 ? Because the 1.5 has an open differential and 2.0 a closed differencial right ? So maybe the upgrades are only for closed differencial ?
I bought a 24 sport recently for a killer deal. Saved about 5k over the best deal I could get on a club to-order. I like the softer suspension - it's more fun and is really good for practicing car control on the street safely. I also really like the 16" rims. That hush-o-matic exhaust is first on my list though. First big upgrade I think will be a turbo. If it's silly with the soft suspension and open diff, I'll upgrade them to the club spec, but I think it'll be fun. Maybe too much fun, we'll see.
A good first mod suggestion might be to get an aftermarket drivers seat rail that lowers the seat from the standard seating position to accommodate your height
Did you order BBR? I keep going back and forth with keeping costs down on the non-BBR just to get the LSD. Drive it for awhile to see what it feels that it needs. That extra 4k can get a track wheel/tire setup, upgraded pads, fluids, roll bar, seat lowering rails if needed since I’m also 6ft.
i ordered with BBR, since I push my own cars hard on track and need brakes that can keep up. It's overall good value and think the Recaros are fine for dual duty. Not sure if I'll have to lower the seat or not at 6'1" but if so, shouldn't be too costly
Looking forward to see what mods you do to your ND3!

I can always recognize Mines Rd. Such a great road. Spent many days up and down it.

What percentage would you say the ND3 is of the Emira experience?
69.420
It's different enough I'm getting a ND3 to add to my garage (Emira + CX50)

69.420 😂 so that’s saying Emira provides 144% experience vs. Miata. But is the price ratio also at 1.44? 😂
RIP 2.0 in Europe
I got mineeeeeee❤

Great idea. Going to see how I fit with helmet in stock setup, and go from there

@@jubbalandcars sounds good, I like the dual purpose seat argument
Love that thicker steering, makes the car feel more special. Also a taller gearshift would be great
What road are you on? Looks fun.
Bought a nd3 and found out ecu cant be tuned :(
How do you like traction off in the ND2? Does it improve steering feel for you?
Which exhaust for the ND are you leaning towards?
Need to do research and listen to the different setups
@@jubbalandcars highly recommend goodwin super street if its a daily
My perfect Miata would be fixed hardtop with fast automatic.
BBR??? DON'T YOU MEAN BBS??? It's called the Brembo BBS package.
It’s called the Brembo bbs recaro package. BBR
