Good Karma! This Cafe Lets Stray Dogs Sleep Inside During Winters

A kind-hearted cafe owner has told how she opens her business’ doors so that stray dogs can stay warm during winter.
Niki Belissary, who owns Hott Spott cafe on the island of Lesbos, Greece, has been inundated with good will after a picture showing four stray dogs sleeping in her cafe went viral.
The cafe in Mytilene, the island’s capital city, closes as to customers at 3am - but for the cities stray dogs it is open 24 hours a day.

I would visit Greece just to see this and spend good money here. Anyone who opens their heart and soul to animals is the best in my eyes. May everything come to you 10fold.

I guess it’s a dishonest publicity stunt. If they’d really want to help, they’d take the dogs to a shelter and donate.
In most countries in the world, stray dogs generate more PUBLIC HEALTH problems than rats and roaches: Contagious diseases, they shit and pee in the streets, garbage bags destroyed and spread in the street, traffic accidents, attacks to children or old people, attacks to pets, etc.
Dogs without owners should not be left alone in the streets, period.
Also, as a customer, I’d prefer to leave an extra donation for local shelters, than knowing that hygiene norms are not strict in the place.

@@birdienumnums1 not only this is a temporary solution, it keeps dogs without a permanent shelter, and also creates potential problem for customers, as street dogs carry fleas and other diseases.
