We have been given this opportunity of human form life to realise God. This is Human Civilisation.If we are not utilising this human form of life to realise God, we are no better than animals. This is animal civilization. In the name of advancement of civilization if we kill the picture of GOD in society, we are simply going back again to animal civilization( roaming naked, only eating, sleeping, defending etc) ."punar musika bhavah".
