Hey, thanks, Lisa! I am still going to try your suggestion for a cone 6 slowish cool. Going away for a week but it will be the first firing after that! Congrats on putting your pieces in the summer gallery! I wish you much success.
Hey Audrey! Glad the marigold mc worked for u I want to try it w mulberry next! Love the berry bowls did u scratch thru the celadon layer at bisque? Very cool! Haha love the bum!! Chuckled lol. The night moth ones make me want to try galaxy over celadons. Added coral to my list! Lovely unload sista xx
Thanks, Nat! After doing the 50/50 trick, I am also excited to try it with different celadons. Looking forward to seeing your mulberry results! Not too many drips in this one since it's a slow cool. I didn't want to risk the bloating. I am going away next week but after that, I have cone 6 going in. Thanks for chiming in again, Sista!
Hi Audrey, I loved this kiln unloading! Some beautiful glazes and I loved the Passion Fruit one. Also the Norse blue and River birch is such a nice blue. Also thanks for giving me ideas for other speckled clays to try! Thank you!❤❤❤
Thanks so much, Ana! I have done the Birch and Norse combo since I started potting. It never disappoints. I have used it on Allport of clays, and it always works! Thanks for saying HI! Happy Creating!
@@AudreyLynnStudios thanks Audrey! I might have to get birch again! I’ve used this glaze years ago and I remember I always had great results with it. 🫶🏻
It makes me happy that I taught you something about pinholes. They are a nuisance! So glad you also like Cherry Blossom! I used it on white clay with an Albany Slip Brown Rim...it turned out sooooo pretty! Happy Creating!
I just bought Cherry Blossom but I’m going to use it on white clay. Do you put Norse Blue under Birch or over? It’s a very pretty result. Yes, please, to videos on your hand built mug and bowl. This was a great kiln opening and I always look forward to them!
Hey Mary! I have also used the cherry Blossom on white clay. I really like it, but I have always been a fan of a ballet pink. The combo on the planter is 2x birch and then 2x Norse over with a 2x band of light flux. Although, I have reversed the application, and it still turns out nice, AND I have used 3 and 3 coats, too. It also looks great on dark clay. OK, thanks for saying you would like a vid on those two pieces. Also, thank you so much for your kind compliments. I am thrilled you like to watch my vids. Happy Creating!
@@AudreyLynnStudios Thanks for the answer! I’m glazing pieces for my first art show and stressing over which combinations to use. I got Cherry Blossom because I needed a celadon but I also like the pink you mentioned as well as Rose Quartz but it’s not great on texture.
On the little trinket dish with the tree of life stamp in the middle, where did you get the tree of life stamp? And on the pretty pale blue berry cup with saucer, is that speckled buff clay? And on that last piece, the big bowl, what kind of clay was that? (I love the speckled clays also.)
Hello, the tree of life stamp is actually a wax stamp. Here is a link to one from Amazon: amzn.to/3Uo5mYi The clay I used is Plainsman 340s which is a speckle . Hope that helps
Great unload Audrey. It seems like you’ve really got your firings dialled in! Loving the amaryllis pieces 😊

Love the purple one Audrey! Nimbus over Autumn purple is really pretty! 💜
I think so, too! I had never done it before. Thanks, Amanda!

@@AudreyLynnStudios just to be clear is it Amaco River Birch or Mayco Birch? Thanks again!🫶🏻
@anasclayhouse Hi Ana, it's Birch....just Birch, not River Birch. Oh I am glad you asked. Looking forward to seeing your results! ❤️
@@anasclayhouse AND this time I did two coats of each. Sometimes, I do three coats off each, especially on dark clay

Love the swirled clay with the fog! Also love the topaz dragonfly.
Thanks! I really likes the fog on that swirl rather than the clear. The dragonfly mug was a bit of a surprise. I like it. Thanks for your comment!
Thanks again Audrey! Love these!!!
Thanks, Daniel!
I learned something today about
Celadons and pin holes. Thank you! And by the way, I also like flux blossom…a lot. 😊

Hoi audrey! They look great again! Love the Plate, bowl!❤
Thanks so much, Ellen!
Gorgeous pieces!
Thank you very much!
Hiya Audrey 🥰 so many beautiful things in the kiln 🤩🤩 I love your berry bowls 💕

I just opened the kiln with the Cherry Blossom pieces. They turned out a grayish pink. Not what I wanted ☹️
@@marycarolyn1293 What did you fire to?
@@AudreyLynnStudios cone 6. Is it pinker at a 5?
Tutorials for the handbuilt cup and the handbuilt bowl, please.
Great! Thanks for letting me know! 🥰

I’d love to see the hand built bowl with the honey glaze …. How to build
It's on the list! I am so glad you like it! Thank you!
I would love a video on making the beautiful hand built mug and bowl. Love the glaze combos! 🎉
Thank you for saying so! I will out it on the list! Thanks for watching!
