Wow Audrey so many gorgeous things in this kiln unload - I gasped when you showed the oil bottle that is light blue at the top and darker down the bottom - it is stunning 🤩 xx
Thanks so much, Laney! That one was a request by a customer who bought a similar oil bottle. I was so glad it turned out! You are sweet. Thanks for watching, Laney!
Aha! I thought it was you!!!! Thank you for telling her! Do you know I just received the 2 cutters as a gift from her and she even sent a third. So, so kind! I will quickly get them made up but first I will show the cutters in a short, after I thank her of course! Isn't that amazing?!
Lovely as usual. I can’t wait for the pool noodle tutorial. I want to try that pool noodle mug it’s gorgeous. I have several of your angels about to fire.
Thanks so much, Sharon! I will do my best to get the tutorial out. I do have a Glaze-a-long on that mug but not the Make-a-long uploaded yet. I just have to upload a Christmas house luminaire and also a tree. 'Tis the season!!! I am so happy to hear you made the angels. 😇🪽
Beautiful and very pritty pieces Audry and i love the little ornaments. Owww pumkinssss, i love them, year round.... ssssst Im still busy with making pumpkins too. They are always nice and endless in variety and fun to make. The diary you keep for your works is nice, always good to look back on how you glazed things. And with pictures in it as well. Good idea! Thanks for sharing all this Bye Audry 👋 Sheila ♡
Thank you so much, Sheila! Thank you for signing off with your name. It's always nice to know who is commenting. Thank you for all your kind compliments and for watching my video! Have fun with your pumpkins!🙂
Thank you! I was excited about the load too! Thanks for your kind comment about the ornaments. I really love how they turn out...and so easy! Thanks for watching!
Twice in this kiln opening you made me laugh out loud and I woke hubby up! Love all your ornaments, as always a lot of lovely pieces. Thanks Audrey, love from the Cotswolds xx
That dark oil bottle is AMAAAZING!! My gosh it’s just beautiful!! Ooh and the pumpkins!! Can’t wait for the pool noodle video!! Oh and I LOVE that textured pool noodle mug!! The texture is just beautiful! Wow!!! The peacock bowl is stunning!!!! I’ve found the new opal luster and the mayco micro line does amazingly well with a natural firing with no hole etc. I have a manual kiln and was incredibly happy to see the micro glazes gave me great crystals! I had my absolute best kiln load EVER a few days ago and I had so many pieces that I used your glaze combos on and they are all amazing!! Thank you sooo much!!! Oh I also wanted to let you know that my copper float pieces came out beautifully! I have a manual kiln that I fire to a hot cone 6, the bottom is a cone 7 and all the pieces look great!! Thanks so much.
Beautiful pieces Audrey! I will try that Alabaster and Aurora Green with Gun Metal Green. I have all three, and am looking for ways to use the Aurora Green. I think it needs some movement for my liking, so I may add a little flux as well, although the GMG may give it enough. We'll see! I'm in the middle of a glaza-a-thon right now, so good timing. I love that mug with the Leather and Norse Blue. You're giving me some new ideas here! Thanks for sharing!
Great kiln opening..I am so,tempted to buy the gingerbread house but I can’t do it lol..thanks for trying spectrum storm cloud, I seen it on their site and was thinking of buying it ..black shadow looks good as well❤
Hi Nancy! Black Shadow? I will have to look at that. Oh, no problem, of course, about the Candy House Cutter! We can't buy everything! Thanks so much for watching!
Hi Audrey, first of all your glaze results are amazing, I absolutely love your refired bowl with the peacock design❤. And I would love to see your opal lustre results. I did also use a cone 6 firing with natural cooling (but I might had better not use a 10min hold o peak temperature?!) , or maybe my claybody is a bit to dark for the glaze? Anyway, I'm excited for your next kiln opening.
Hi Judy! Ya, that bowl turned out nice in the end. The next kiln load doesn't have the Opal Luster. I will try to get a cone 6 done this week. Super busy getting the product pumped out! Maaaybe , a hold on the cone 6 would help. I will try. It will be a cone 6, 8 minute hold. Talk soon!
I'd love a pin on your map, I'm in Secret Harbour, just South of Perth in Western Australia. I love the dark clay oil bottle! The contrast of that glaze combo to the dark clay is stunning! Everything you've done is beautiful, as usual.
Hi, Jane! I would love to make a pin for you for my map project. Thanks so much! Thank you for your kind comments. I made some mushrooms with cute coloured tops because of you. They will come out of the kiln soon. Take care, Jane!
Hey my drippy sista oh single fire I was asking about that for my ducks! So do u mean just bisque temp single fire? Oh so nice a company acknowledged u for the cutters! Love that autumn purple so pretty. Oh that jug is gorgeous! That coffee looks like toffee pretty. Great unload again. Nat xx
Hello my Sista! So, single fire!... I apply only Stroke & Coats (no other glaze types) to bone dry pieces (not bisques) and fire them in a regular midfire firing, so a slow cool works great. It doesn't have to be decorations only. I have done little pots this way. I will put it on my list to fire a pot done with just Stroke and coats. It's always worked like a charm for me!❤️
Yes, it was the watercolour bookmarks, I had made some and used porcelain type clay, but o my goodness the findings and cording were a struggle. The book marks turned out great but i had a struggle finishing them off
Ok, I am a bit confused, but here is the link to the bookmarks and you let me know if it is something different, Ok? ua-cam.com/video/DeyBAFeBOSM/v-deo.htmlsi=OvUK9E1dpb4hg-13

@AudreyLynnStudios the Mushrooms are pretty fun to make, so happy to hear I inspired you xx
Dark clay often bloats at cone 6. It is fine at cone 5
You are right, Clare! I totally forgot about that factor when I put it in the kiln. GREAT! A separate third firing, UGH! Hahaha! Thanks for watching!
