@@mizuharachizu7522 tahitian, samoan, tongan. Ik it's not hawaiian because I'm hawaiian born and raised. The only resemblance to hawaiian mythology is Maui because he's a demi god from a lot of Polynesian cultures and that they harvest coconuts and catch fish but that's where the similarities end.

@@kermitthefrog4505 Pele isn't just a Hawaiian goddess. She was born in Tahiti, her journey started from there and the story spread through all of Polynesia. But yes, she is most well known as being a Hawaiian Goddess, with her settling down there and creating the islands and all that.

i hope hi-rez consider adding gods from all over Polynesia since Polynesia consists of Hawaii,Samoa,Tonga,Tuvalu,Kiribati and many more which all have great ideas for Polynesian gods in smite.
I think if you combine all those cultures mythologies into one group it’ll be a powerful pantheon for sure.
here are some ideas
Tumatauenga (Maori god of war) :Guardian
Hokohoko (Goddess of Niue) :Guardian
Uenuku(Maori god of rainblws) :Mage

The reason new gods (and anything else for that matter) come out in an OP state is because then people will use them, power directly correlates to enjoyment in the sense that if a god comes out underpowered, no one enjoys them and they get forgotten, look how long it took people to get into Cabrakan

As far as Pele goes, shes not seeing much of any play even tho assassins and there items are the best they have ever been, Feelzbadman.
Her passive was nerfed into the ground and then a better version it was given to bastet.

I wish you luck, My first days back was REALLY rough as There is ZERO MMR decay in casuals, your gona face the same people you did back then. For me i was at the highest mmr bracket xD So ya, i caused auto losses to my team for the first 20 matches QQ
But hey, hang in there, youll fiind your place again. best thing you can do is watch the patchnotes show Hirez does, this will give you insight into whats currently strong and were the meta is and will be going.
The game is full of raging idiots but don't let that detur you, The mute function is great, and most people are only verbally horrid.
Should you be lookinng for a community, WinterGaming is a decent one, sizable allways recruiting and does scheduled events, very casual, if your into that.

yeah. i don't know much about this mythology, most of my knowledge of it coming from fate, but it does sound cool

Mesopotamia have a lot of gods and very strong ones like nergal he is God of War and underworld and death and plauge in mesopotamia we have 3 or 2 gods of War and we have 4 kings of gods

I think neither of the Bacchus models are that good, and others needed a rework more than him so I kinda understand the complaints. To be fair, I would vote for redesigning the Solar Sentinel Ra and old Zeus skins then experimenting with the basic models.

She's gonna be my favorite duo lane. That sustain and knock up will keep her safe as well as her buff will keep her out rotating the enemy team.
Red Galaxxy she doesn't have that much clear early, plus no sustain. U may do well with her when you reach level 5 but by then your going to be behind, and get bullied by a real solo laner
Clayton Murrell bellona has bad wave clear if her 2 is interrupted and has next to no sustain either. Osiris, sun wukong, rat, herc are some other examples of weak early game clear and little to no sustain early game. They all do fine in solo. Not to mention loki

Her ult is like fenrir's except that their is a second part added to it which is from another god with a sword and a mirror i forgot her name.
I really wish they showed the hud so the abilities would make sense. Thank god I saw the patch note stream beforehand.

Also maybe a bit too predictable. I like them doing the unexpected with their gods, it gives them room to be creative. We needed a new assassin anyways, since we haven't had one in over a year.
dragontyron I would prefer having no assassins in general XD, the ones of my team almost always feed and the enemies assassin feels like I'm going to get killed the moment I just peek into the jungle

Ok I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am of the developers for this one! and the lore is really accurate too! I mean some minor details were missed but whatever (ʻaʻole pau ka ʻike i ka hālau hoʻokahi). and I like how they don't treat her as just a destroyer, but also a creator too, but she is noted to get rather jealous and/or angry some/most times. thank you so much, Smite, for such a great portrayal of one of our most sacred and powerful akua!

Ive always been thinking about a guardian support. Someone with healing drones or something of that nature? Maybe they follow your teammates around and send a healing beam and maybe could be toggled to give. Mana? And like you only get one drone to start out with to only heal your adc and then you get 5 for the late game to help your own team? Is this a dumb idea or is this genius

It seems like she would counter alot of gods one on one but I can see her getting nerf because people will complain. I am more disappointed in the good behavior system because a toxic player can report you for no good reason and get away with it thanks hi-rez really solving things one at a time.
A toxic player could _always_ report you for no good reason. That's not changed.
Your Goodwill protects you from a report or two before anything actually happens, now, so you're actually more safe than before.
