Do you have the contact info for Lava? I'm debating whether or not to rent a car while I'm there. Im going the end of May. I'm staying at an all inclusive so I don't think we'll be off the resort too much, but there are places I want to see while I'm there. Any advice would be much appreciated

Hi, I had listed his details in the comments but here it is again in case you need it
Lava Taxi Service (Best to contact through WhatsApp )

In my opinion if you are going to explore much of the island then renting a car would probably be a good option (rental prices per day are pretty reasonable) but if you are going to stay at your resort for most of your time in Antigua (I’m sure the resort will be arranging an airport shuttle for you and they might even have excursion packages as well) then I’m not sure a rental would be necessary. With that being said the taxi rides can get a little pricey on the island. So basically you have to decide how much exploring you’ll be doing and how often and figure out which works out better for your budget. As another option, you don’t have to rent a car for your entire stay you could just rent one for the days you want to explore (I would also avoid driving at night as most of the roads have no lighting)
      * You will also need to purchase a temporary local driver’s license for about 20 USD.
I hope this helps, Safe Travels!

You didn’t mention snorkeling at your favorite beaches…. Where will be able to see fish and creatures safely from shore?

Ah yes, good point! Every time we go we do enjoy snorkeling with the fish and trying to swim with the turtles. We did talk about the snorkeling a little at Galleon Beach in our Shirley Heights- Galleon Bay video. It's such a beautiful Island, thanks for your comment and Safe Travels!
