Comment below and tell me what you're most excited for when it comes to moving out. What are you most nervous for?
Hello , i think I’m nervous because I don’t want to be stuck one day and not being able to pay for everything by myself,
I’m excited for the peace , my own place , my own rules
I'm nervous about Financials
I'm a new subscriber anyway

I promise u, if you dont leave, it doesn't matter how old you are or even If you yourself a mom living with your own parents.....you WILL be treated like a minor and the disrespect is real. As long as u are under their roof and rules, u are a a grown ass child especially if your folks are able-bodied and you aren't taking care of them ( that's different). Other than that....u issa kid.
I agree

Facts, sad it has to the be this way but there is only one Queen/King of every household.
Yup, as long as you are living with your parents, you will always be treated like a kid. It doesn't matter if you are 40, 50, 60 etc. Move out to avoid living and being treated like a child.
im 27 and realizing i need to move out of my parents house. thanks for this video
Same. You do it yet?
I'm 26 and I want to also. I've been thinking about it for a year now

Crying at 1am because I’m moving out soon and I can’t stop crying.. I came across this video and it’s like god sent you 🥺🥺🥺😓😭
You should be excited! Have you told your parents yet?
Saludos desde México.
I hate living with my grandparents. I buy my own food but its hard to develop new habits and live a healthier lifestyle because my grandmother thinks that I think I'm better than them. They doubt every move I make and never support me. I think I should move out but I don't have much. I fear that I will slip back into old habits if I don't go. And same with the food thing. I buy healthy food and she eats it .
This is me, but with my mother. I don't have grandparents
I need to move out so that I can start buying the food I need for my body and not rely on someone buying only the stuff they want to eat
I will get my own place soon!!! Amen!
How’s it going now?
@@kevyn3279 ugh not good. I’ll be okay it’s my credit but I don’t even have a credit cards yet 😒

I’m glad you mentioned Dave Ramsey!!! I’m paying off my student loans then moving out. Hopefully I’ll be out in 8 months!

Beautifully said!
Thank you! ☺️
Thank you. You are awesome and I love you so much for this video! Thank you.
Living at home at an old age will cause psychological and emotional damage. Move out early and avoid all this. Best of Luck!
I'm almost 50, and still live at home. I'm not THAT screwed up. I work full time, I'm responsible. My priority is saving myself money. I have no reason to move out.
@@robertmaxa6631 you 50 and still live at home lol 😂😂😂
@@gaz.7770 Yup. I don't see it as a problem. If I lived on my own, I would not be enjoying the standard of living I am now. I'm looking out for my own self interest.
@@robertmaxa6631 pal ya 50 year old I could kinda understand what you saying if you where maybe 30 but you not you 50 years old if you lucky you have 15-20 years left before you become too old and tired to do anything.
I thought I was bad and waisted too many years of my life at home when I finally moved out at 28 but at least I was in my own place before 30 and now at 32 I’m married with 1 kid and another on the way if I was still at home none of that would be possible the one thing I regret is not moving out earlier as that was what was stopping my now wife wanting to tell me that she liked me (we worked at the same company) she told me just week for the 1st time that if I hadn’t of moved into my own place when I did we wouldn’t be together today as a family of 3 soon to be 4 as she was just about ready to give up on me
@@gaz.7770 I've done what I've wanted to. I saw what I wanted to see. It not safe to travel anywhere, with the state of the world that it in.
Moving out, as soon as possible, seems to be a North American thing. In Europe, and India, kids stay home to take care of stuff, until they marry. Personally, I don't see the point. Why not save money, if you can. The housing market is out of reach for me, so I'd rather pay rent to family, than to a stranger. My standard of living, is considerably higher, on what I make, living at home, than renting somewhere. It's a no brainer.
It’s not that easy for everyone, to just stay at home in a unhealthy environment
I am from europr also and I agree. Here in Europe people live with parents until they are like 30s . Did you ever ask yourself maybe you are using your parentw or next marriage ro jist not face a reality? I mean even if sou want to save some money to buy a house or apartment you will and can not do ir by yourself. You will have at least 50 years to buy it with your saved money and when you met someone you will split the bill. So the quewtion is are you stasing with sour parents cause they are comfort zone or because of "money"?
@@the_infinity_channelI've never had plans of getting married or having kids. I could not afford to buy a house, on what I earn, and have no desire to work any harder, to earn more, so, living at home, affords me a reasonable standard of living, based on what I earn, otherwise I would not be living very well. I stay at home for both reasons, you state. The arrangement suites both of us, since Parents health is declining.
Love your channel! Please make more videos. ❤️🙏🏾
Ooo very personable intro. I hope as you grow you won't loose that authenticity:)
I think it’s weird that we have to pay extra for non-gmo foods
I live at home and my mom treats me. Like a young adult but there's other people that live there and I kind of want my own space
Leaving with your parents doesn't mean you don't even know how to set up a printer or do laundry... parents usually teach kids how life works, unless kids are under 9 years old. I didn't get your point 😅
How much did you save before you moved out?
Well first I would recommend finding out where you’re going to live whether you’re living alone or with roomates or whatever. This is really important because it will be the majority of what your money goes towards. This will very from person to person for example my apartment is $2000 a month because I live in a big city but someone could get by rooming with others and splitting the rent. Also you need to keep in mind the security deposit. This can range from $200 all the way to first months rent. And you may or may not get it back. If you save up enough for the security deposit, first months rent, and enough money to pay for gas and food for at least a month you should be alright. I would highly suggest making sure you have at least $1500 squared away just in case of emergencies or unforeseeable costs like your car breaking down or something like that. I know this sounds like a lot but it’s way better to save before you move rather than just racking up your credit card. This is a great way to get in some debt that will be hard to pay back. I live in San Diego and I would say moving into our first place probably cost us $5,500-$6,000 when you count in the apartment, deposit, furniture, and other fees. But if you live in a smaller city with roommates you can do this for way less! I suggest finding your city and an apartment first. Sit down and write down the cost of everything. Rent, deposit, WiFi or cable, water bill, electric bill, car payment, gas, food, car insurance, health insurance, etc. and you should be able to find a number based off that. Hope this helped! 😌
@@virtualfreedomdesign You helped so much, Thank you!!
@@23camboslice Of course! :)
First I will catch up on bills maybe get a little head then move out
Damn girl, your parents did everything for you. Pay for your gas and car?? What?!
You live in wisconsin? me too!!
I’m gone
So you're suggesting moving out during a pandemic? Why? If it was a non pandemic time I would agree that there is some growth to be had from being out of your parent's house but what would be the benefit in getting your own place and then quarantining or sheltering in place and being isolated in an apartment by yourself. Atleast if your at home with your parents there is someone to talk to in the house and if work needs to be done around the house would you rather you be the person to help your parents with the work or some random person who may or may not asymptomatically carry the virus into your parents home. If you are also sheltering in your parents home then your all sheltering in the same household so the risk of transmission is mitigated especially if you and your parents all have jobs where you can work from home.
In that case staying home means you can all work together to keep the house going well will sheltering in place.
i understand your point of view, unfortunately some of us live in dysfunctional/abusive households and continuing to live there will just take a toll on your mental health
@@alissaride117 I've been fortunate to have a healthy relationship with my parents so I speak from that angle. You are right that there are many that do not and that I should have had more consideration for that in my comment. In no way do I want people who are in abusive and unhealthy households to stay there. In those cases getting out as soon as you can is important for your mental and physical health.
Can I move out at the age of 16???
No that's not good... you should wait 18 and above okay.
