I'm from Hong Kong. I still have very fond memory of the 5-day stay at Superstar Leo back in Christmas 2002 when I was 13 years old. Always hope my parents could have brought us back there again.
Great ship review, Cant wait to see your cabin reviews as well. We are hoping they will be doing similar itineraries in mid 2026 as they are in 2025 we love NCL have been told this is totally different to the Bliss and Escape which are the ships weve been on and will be on the Viva and Joy within the next year
Hi Adrian. I hope the steam has worn off !! he he She is a lovely ship. And you mention a few pieces of information that most have overlooked. (i.e. Kids spaces and where they can gather) Ah, those were the days, standing before "Racks and Racks" of photos, looking for yours to either buy or forget !!! Like I said in an earlier comment, NCL is sending all their redundant tonnage to Asia and Australia and The South Pacific. 3 ships in total. (Spirit, Sun, and Sky) I always love your ship reviews for the tid bits, commentary and ease of presentation !! Well Done.
Haha! Thanks Jeremy. Glad you enjoyed the tour. Ideally I’d love to see a Prima Class ship down under but it looks like that probably won’t happen anytime soon (what with our diminishing local cruise industry and all 😅)
@@TheCruiseandTravelGuy Oh. I think with several more ships to come in the Prima Class, they have to go somewhere right ?? I mean really, how many ships do you need in a single market location ?? Let's spread the wealth out. it seems money and WHO makes that money is a big issue. Add the fact that Once you get out of Sydney, you either go North or South, but you can't go too far south, with just any ship, right ?? If you can't get to the South Pacific in enough time to tour the islands and get back, just as fast, what does one do, but extend the itinerary for that purpose. If you leave Freemantle or Perth, the Kimberly or North coast, is your destination. Sailing farther west, is a trip into Point Nemo in the Pacific Ocean, or up to India or the Seychelles or Maldives. Gotta have lots of money to go to either !! Mostly the small boutique ships go there right now. Then it begs the question, where do you sail your ships, with variable itineraries and time constraints to sail them ??
She is definitely a beautiful ship. I have heard rumours that this ship and the Norwegian Sun will be sailing out of Australia in the near future, but I have been unable to confirm this.
Thanks for watching! Yes, NCL Sun has a full itinerary available for booking beginning in December this year. Spirit is back in Australia from December 2025.
@@TheCruiseandTravelGuy Thanks for the confirmation. I sailed to Alaska on the Sun in 2005 and she was a beautiful ship and I am looking forward to seeing her in Australia.
Wow. Ship looks so much better inside than I expected.
They did a really good job! You’d never know she was from 1998.
To anyone reading this: I hope all your life desires always come true ❤🎉
thank you for posting this video, as I am about to go on my cruise on this very ship in September. It looks impressive.
I hope you enjoy your time onboard. Happy cruising.

That’s a nice memory!
Lovely Adrian. Thank you for the excellent tour. Looks a lovely ship - very tastefully renovated.

Great tour thank you for sharing. 💕
Thank you for watching.
That's the first ship we cruised on, when it was with Star Cruises. A four or five day out of Hong Kong.
How fun! I imagine she looked a little different then?

Do you know if spice h20 is 18+ or 21+?
My recollection is 18+ for Spice H2O.
@@TheCruiseandTravelGuy alright, thanks!
Maybe I am wrong but thought Spirit was refurbished in 2022 not 2020 or was she refurbished twice in two years?
She was refurbished in 2020.
The Starbucks jokes are wearing a bit thin 🙄
It’s really not a joke - Starbucks is awful 😄
StarSux you mean
Starchucks is something we all bring up eventually 😅
I miss her old hull art. The new art is ugly.
I didn’t take too much notice of it… but the old one looks more colourful.
