I would advise you to also approach your church or workplace. They can give you an advance at work and they deduct in bits monthly. Churches borrow people money for renewal those days. Not sure if they still do

Hi prudence, my friend who is a student was in the same situation few weeks ago, she applied for a student credit card and it was used to offset the balance of the school fees she owes and was given about 20 months to pay back by instalments which is enough time . You can get a loan from your bank, you can get a credit cards, even if it’s pay day loans, you can always pay back immediately after you send your applications. Sometimes desperate times calls for desperate measures or how do they say it?. It’s a very hard times for most people right now all over the world even here in the UK, everyone is looking for money to use for one thing or the other. If it’s not to renew visa, it’s for deposit for mortgage or save towards a car etc we are all hustling to survive . So since you guys only have few weeks or days left, apply for a loan or credit card … I hope all goes well..

I didn’t tell them what I needed it for. Home office gave me two weeks to apply or leave the country, so I was desperate. It’s a really difficult situation to be in but when you’re desperate, you try every option. Desperate times calls for desperate measures.
On another note, try applying for fee waiver, if not too late - pray, you may get a partial / full one. God moved in our own case, and we got a full visa fee waiver, including NHS fee waiver for our family of four. That's our Almighty God for you.
Are you on student visa? Cause I thought fee waiver doesn’t apply to people on student route?. Cause when you were applying, you proofed to them through your proof of fund that you can cater for yourself and dependants, so applying for fee waiver which is a public funds will say otherwise. Pls share so more people will know and use it.
