I just bought a 2006 GRS184 athlete from Japan I can't wait to get it, I was able to find one with night vision, which will be good for driving in rural BC in the middle of winter
The corrosion on the hood looks like filiform corrosion. That hood is probably aluminum and has some moisture ingress under the paint. EDIT: High five!
I love it! My friend has a Mid 90s crown in the states, hope the new owner likes this car as much as my friend likes his.
Lemme guess.....slammed right? 😐
Love these s180s.
If I lay my hands on an athlete Grade G I'd be very happy.

How much did it cost overall?
@@joshbarba3223 I think the total came out to around 9k all in
Engine in this is 3GR(255hp), they also come with 4GR(215hp) and 2GR(315hp)
I’d love to import one of these one day. It’s the ultimate daily driver in my opinion
VSC is the vehicle stability control
Would love to see a review on that Pajero Evolution you have in your lot at 5:23
vsc is vehicle stability control
What are the differences in grades?
I love this car
how can i order one of these from japan?
Good to know what we are missing in South Africa
What an usual combination
Dude ! , we like the content, love the cars but we can hardly hear what you're saying !!!
Does the Canadian owner have to change the oem radio to get signal or not?
You can buy a box that plugs into the factory head unit that gives you apple car play so there's no need for radio
no but the frequency is limited, you can only go up to 90hz
@@AP-jl2lv I never use the radio so it's never been an issue for me, and you can't replace the factory head unit without loosing a tone of features
@@JonasOnAutos Do you happen to have a link for that box?
Can you turn off 4WD in these cars so it's RWD when needed?
No, they are full-time AWD.
Is this Toyota like E-class in Europe? Often used as taxies and police cars.
Yes but a lot better.
@@noelnicklasson6997 That's debatable
@@MrCarGuy Toyota is and will always be better than Mercedes lol.
@@noelnicklasson6997 I'd call it a biased opinion. They're both great car manufacturers.
@@marten6578 No lol, these are much better. Better drivetrain, better build quality, waaaay more options, more legroom, quieter and the list goes on.

EDIT: High five!
space inside is bigger than swb mercedes and bmw.
High five
Her in Iraq people love this vehicle and could go for atleast 15 thousand dollars
Hi-five Derrick
Thanks man
@@PacificCoastAuto I love your walkthrough videos, they are so informative and so relaxing. Thank you for sharing them.
Avoid the 3gr engine like the one in this crown. Carbon build up issues.
This is the 1gr 😐
@@Maximus20778 nope it’s 3gr. 1gr is a 4.0L.

Hi five
