I’m 57 years old and used to listen to this album with my mom when I was 5. I still have the album!
Glad to hear of someone my age who appreciated the Lettermen at five the way I did, and continues to know them as the Founding Fathers Of Romantic Pop. I couldn't ever tire of hearing them. I used to call Tony the "Mushroom Man" when I was five.
bought this lp ( used ) in the mid '80's . your copy is in better condition than mine . one of the best live albums ever made imo .
@ 55 years old, this took me DIRECTLY back to my childhood as this was one of my mom’s FAVORITE records!
This album is great😊😊😊😊
Hi.j.v. I have your new ! Channel I like this album I wi put this in my library so keep the albums Coming your new ! No.1 fan
A blast from the past! Thanks so much!
Thank you SO much, I've been looking for this forever! You made my day!
The photo on the cover indicates that this was the original three gents. They had that special sound together. Groups change with members through the years, and if you listen to the different trios, the level of excellence has always been maintained. Jim and Bob from the original trio have passed on, and I wish Tony the best on his semi-retirement.
I think that Gary Pike is still alive.
Their all-time best album at the peak of their movement on the charts.
Great stuff
First record I ever listened to. I was 4 years old.
The Durable Lettermen
It's still a big puzzle why they never hit Europe, when the Lettermen were at its peak. Why oh why? They could have been a lot bigger, bigger bigger! What a sad thing to reflect on.
The best rendering of "I Believe"
Has anyone posted another live album they did? It included When I Fall In Love, What Kind of a Fool Am I, and the comedy medley Groups Are Nothing New? The closer was You'll Never Walk Alone.
Has there ever been a CD release?
"Twwweeeett!!!" for the Lettermen, and THE classic Lettermen album of their long career. Tony Butala has retired owing to age, but now the Lettermen will go on having no original members. It won't last without Tony; it'll die very quick. He was the vertebrae of the group.
What is music if not for the Lettermen?
