What are you using to power it, have tried 9 different high power supplies and the heat output is very minimal I seriously doubt it’ll have any effect on dew at all…
@@AstroOnbudgetDepending how the USB-ports are made of course, but is there not a great chance of having the dew strip pulling too much amperage from the USB port and fry it?

It really depends on where you live. If you live in a place where dew/humidity is a problem, then I think getting something like this is necessary.
@@AstroOnbudget I agree my place is just mostly hot and dry. I guess I'm lucky it is not very humid most of the year.

Hey I got the one with 400mm because my telescope is big. They have one for camera lenses at Aliexpress if thats what you are after.

It works for me. I use just my computer usb port. Never had problems.
@@AstroOnbudget A laptop usb port can only supply 500ma. To be effective it needs to be plugged into a charging port that can supply 2 amps.
