Thank You. Mad Max was one of the videos I had ready to put in there, along with American Psycho/Life of Pi etc etc. Challenge of putting this video together was choosing the scenes I really loved!
Yes, putting every great scene that we all enjoy would be impossible. You did a outstanding job with your choices. As Garrison Fjord suggested, I may have added a few scenes from MY favorite films in there too, but I can also say, I wouldn't remove any of your choices. Very nice video.
Pretty great!! Glad to see Kill Bill I in there; final fight scene was probably the most mesmerizingly beautiful I've ever seen. You should do a couple more of these! 😊
Some of the shots I would question if being actually good enough to be included or a better version of the same film scene (later/earlier frames i.e Road to Perdition) to be used instead. But overall it’s still thrilling to see and the work and effort put in to make this is really appreciated...
keep looking Lots of fantastic scenes in "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" too. The contrast between the mundane and fantastic is perfect, with beautiful cinematography of both.
The description indicates that the video only includes shots from the last fifty years (as of 2017). Many of Kurosawa's most famous movies are from the 50s (Seven Samurai, Ikiru, Rashomon, Throne of Blood) and the 1960s (High and Low, Red Beard). Ran (1985) and Kagemusha (1980) are the major options for eligible Kurosawa movies, and while I agree that at least one shot from each should be included, it's not quite "blasphemy."
I use Adobe Suite for video editing etc, and it's £80/$100 a month which is excessive. I'm starting a new job fairly soon which should take up most of my free time so wanted to have this video as my "outro" for now.
Jyotiraj Saharia That is Ben Stiller in "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty", has lots of fantastic scenic cinematography! Great story too, with a surprise ending. 😊
100,000 views! awesome!
This video makes me tear up. Really captures the kid-like wonder that comes from an amazing movie. Thank you for this compilation
This was just an epic montage man. Im saving this so I can come back to it later for motivation
i will forever continue to come back to this video
Thank you. That reminded me of so many movies I want to watch with my kids. Truely... Thank you ...
I've showed so many people this video. I get chills every time I watch.
For me, the Henry Royal Regatta from Fincher, and a shot by Nolan in Interstellar of the black hole are just lovable.
As a film maker, I hope one day I see a shot from one of my films in an awesome video like this.
Cool video. A bit surprised there wasn't anything from Mad Max: Fury Road. That film had some gorgeous shots.

I mean... if we're really talking about 50 years worth of movies there are a hell of a lot of other deserving shots that weren't in here.
just beautyful
This is so beautiful that I wanna cry

I highly agree!!
still a masterpiece ngl
Get this man to Hollywood
I always feel Leon should have a shot or two in these. Natalie Portman pressing the doorbell or Gary Oldman taking his pill.

magnificent ... just magnificent
This simply beautiful!

You could rearrange the order of the scenes in such a way to tell a cohesive story.
you should make more like this again!

Fuck you Octo. Stop Stalking me
1:40 looks like somewhere in New Zealand
There is indeed a shot from New Zealand here, but it's at 2:17 from The Fellowship of the Ring.
Missing a bridge over the river kwai
It says that only shots from the last fifty years are included. The Bridge on the River Kwai is from 1957.
Obvious question ... Why not?
