I keep coming back to this one from time to time. Just think about how unbelievably good Sour shoes is. Off the cuff he can transition to each one and off the cuff ad lib material ... The inflection, the material, he's just absolutely brilliant. Whenever I come back and listen to sour shoes, it never fails that I have a big ear to ear grin while I'm listening.. He's amazing!
Sour Shoes nailed the following impersonations within a ten minute span during this epic phonecail: Chris Carlin Jason Kaplan Scott Burrell Don Imus Robin Quivers Artie Lange Mike Francesa Chris “Mad Dog” Russo Gary Dell’abate Ira from Staten Island John Sterling Suzyn Waldman Sid Rosenberg Craig Carton Steve Somers Paul Turner John Minko Boomer Esiason Jerry Recco
Those impressions were amazing. I loved his impressions of Mike and the Mad Dog I couldn't stop laughing because they were perfect. It sounded like I was actually listening to them and not an impression. That guy is really talented.
If I remember correctly in 85 Yanks were 3 back of Jays playing last weekend up there. Won the first game with a huge Butch Wynegar home run in the 9th that either tied the game or put them ahead. Next day Joe Cowley lost ending Yanks season but on Sunday Phil Niekro won his 300th game. I was a senior in high school.
It's also better when people interact with the impression by talking back and asking questions so Sour has something to play off of instead of just requesting a new voice every 30 seconds

This man is a genius and insane all in one lol
It’s nice to see someone let Sour go. Howard will let him go for 10 or 20 seconds at a time. I wish Sour had his own show.
the Ira impression was absolutely SPOT ON
Sour is such a genius, he's smart AF but on a VERY different wavelength than the rest of us.
His Artie Lang and Maddog are perfect.
“Hi, this is Robin quivers. I’m back ! I was just about to say that !” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sour is a fuc**ng wizard. Only truly appreciated long after he's gone, like Tesla.
Mad Dog analyzing Different Strokes is incredible
Long Live Sour
Sour Shoes has more talent in his pinky than Rob Riggle has in his entire body.
What did rob riggle do to deserve thia?
Must we lower someone to raise another?

That Mad Dog, Mike, and Susan combo killed me
Do you remember Ron Hassey hit one in the upper deck 😅😅
Him going into a Mad Dog Russo impression seamlessly just to say Sherman Hemsley in that accent is Da Vinci level of genius.
this is a legendary call
Phillip Drummond was EXcellent with those 2 kids. What a genius.
Just the best. I love that he’s a loose cannon that can’t be controlled. If anyone ever got ahold of him and tried to run him they’d just ruin him.
The fact that (I think) Sour isn't a multimillionaire is a crime against humanity. 💛
Don, what a great sense of humor. BRUTAL!
His Russo is amazing.
When he says "excellent" I lose it everytime 😂😂
Sour is a mad genius.
Genius
Is Don alive? Does he have a sense of humor? Is he thinking of his next fast food meal?
Glad this show got canned ....both sucked !
what show are you talking about my friend
Actually, the show is alive and running, and I will be watching it myself in about 45 minutes.
Why can’t someone do don
wow just wow. so strong
Hit 'em with the Hein!
I WANT YOU TO GO TO JAIL FOR THIS!!!
Sour? Sour can you hear me?
Howard knows when to cut him off. You can tell he's run out and the jocks don't have the shock jock instinct to tell.
It's also better when people interact with the impression by talking back and asking questions so Sour has something to play off of instead of just requesting a new voice every 30 seconds
I had no idea YES Network took calls.
His artie is off here it's usually so much better
@Stuff ThangsLange
198....
9!
Guy in green shirt has no sense of humor - thank god Michael Kay does
Sour, I want you to go to jail for this.
Baba Booey!
Noine
Is that a true story?😂😂😂
The Yankees did not even get in the post season in 1985
You sound like a lot of fun.
Only Michael Kaye's show can make the brilliant sour shoes less funny than he is
Sour mentioned Howard's wife. That's where they cut ties. Sour didn't go missing. Stern cut him off.
He is back now
Wrong, stupid. He's on almost every week
Sour Shoes is great too bad his talents are wasted on this awful show.
This NY inside joke went on a little long, btw, NY radio is awful LOL
