Here’s a possible solution of “not any beds” for a villager is to do what you’d done for upgrading your village that was on the raft in the ocean. The strategy was getting off and as soon as you get back on, you should immediately press the join my village button. Hope this helps. 😅
I think I figured out the bed issue. I’ve tested multiple times and it seems to work. Basically If any of your build goes outside the gold village barrier you cannot place a bed on any surface of that build. (Even if just an edge of a build is outside the gold barrier) The bed must be touching a build ONLY within the village barrier. So even if you have a build that starts in the barrier but then extends beyond it you will not be able to assign villagers a bed on that build.

It did it to you too! When you broke your village square and replaced it, it had changed from the color and icon you choose to being greyed out! I'm hoping this gets fixed soon...
For wood and granite the true best way is a dynamic platform....just push it around. Won't break, and if you want to go somewhere else just break it and pick up the flexwood and remake it somewhere else

The issue with the no bed is definitely with the flooring you have. It is dumb but I’ve tested and seen it proven. You make a pre build and put a bed it in they will have a bed. If you make that same build and connect it with stairs to some flooring. They will say you have no bed as it being a continuation build and not just a place for them to stay

imo the best way to harvest wood is to lay down a dynamic floor and push it through the little patches of trees in the desert. took me like 25 min to fill my invt and i didnt waste a sword
instead of building a bunch of giant storage rooms, you could just build so watchtowers in between ur grasslands base and mt. Everest filled with chests and a flag so it showes up on the map

I’m stuck at level 6 for my snow biome village and that really makes me want to quit because I built all over the whole peak of Mount Everest like you but yeah idk why it doesn’t save my progress towards the next level
I farmed yesterday with a rare axe. It lost durability. I think that only works with epic and I think it's game mechanics. If you're defense is high enough, some enemy attacks do zero damage to you. I assume if your attack is high enough (I'd have to put 3 damage essense on rare sword to really test my theory) the thing that's getting hit, doesn't damage your sword IF the materials "defense points" are low enough. #gamer science
sad to see the old reef base be abandoned, but I think it's ultimately better so you can actually have villagers in your new base, common kaz W

The fix for this is to make a separate build or disconnect the build that is crossing over the barrier and then place your beds there

Just destroy some of the flooring that connect to everything and the bed should be seen by them

Having the same issue with npc beds! Only solution that works for me is to build the bed on land and not on a build piece. Good luck!

the raft is glitched bcs the village counts the ocean floor as the village floor, so the actual raft is above the village parameter
