@@Kay_Cee.81 I got the SG400, papers, creative studio, and an automated mug press for $649. All of these things are still in the box :)! I'm going to get to it eventually. I've been busy with HTV but I'm excited to offer this to my clients.
Im so excited to hear you have one this is going to be a ton of fun you are going to love it. You have got to get that out of the box :) double check the dates on your ink as they have an expiration date. I should have waited for black Fridays deal you scored :)
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat I figured I'd have to purchase new inks. I have a vinyl shop local to me that sells sublimation, vinyl, and solvent ink supplies.
Quick question, did you notice that Heat Press Nation has the Forever subli-light sublimation paper? They're saying with this paper you can print on 100% cotton and cotton blends. Do you think you could do a review of the paper? I asked Heat press nation if they would review it but they said they don't know when they would get to it. It's pricey compared to the text print R paper. Btw, only if you're interested in printing on cotton. I don't want to tell you how to spend your money. :). Thanks for all of the tutorials!!

Awesome video. I've been looking for a full video for SG400. I am still debating if I want to order the Chromablast starter kit so I can print on 100% cotton because the Gildan shirts I purchase are 100% cotton.

Great tutorial Your a natural teacher. I am looking for a sublimation printer and love your slide out drawer on your heat press. I have a 16 x 20 but its standard and I find it so hard to put tshirts on for placement

Hi CrystalAnn. You chose paper size A4 rather than US Letter and clipped the T on "the." Thanks to you, I now know what sublimation is. I prefer cotton so will likely skip this way of printing.

We just purchased this printer came with a different kind of paper not the same brand as yours but our 1st test was on a 100% polyester and for some reason it's coming out really faded hoping to get this going good my daughter is trying to make shirts to sell Not really sure why came out Faded we tried it 2 different times on the same shirt got the same result Both times definitely good video i like the detail you go into

In another tutorial, the lady said that if the shirt does not have enough polyester in it, it might or bleed or whatever after washing. I love your tutorial bc I want to buy the printer and press to make metal signs. Have you done that?

That is right and have you noticed what they are selling for one of the shirt designs I did today those shirts are going for $23 each.. Im so excited I just can't wait to play with it more :)
I haven’t looked recently but I believe you! I quit looking when I realized I just couldn’t afford to get into at this moment in life. 😏 I am also glad that you got that heat press and showed it in use. I make stuff on the cricut and I have the easy press but I just don’t think it gives as good of a seal on htv as my friends stahls heat press. I have looked at that pink one but I thought I wouldn’t like the size as I kinda got spoiled with her 16x20. I am gonna hold out for the 15x15 that you’re gonna get in December. I really like the slide out drawer design!
Do you know of another style of printing or anything besides HTV or screen print that you can use for colored shirts? I'm not a fan of white shirts. I love your video, thanks!

I will be saving for one of these printers immediately after Christmas. I've already got a heat press so I'm halfway there. I love working with htv but obviously you can do so many different things with the dye sublimation.
Is there some reason this is better than just going through a print-on-demand site like Redbubble? The equipment, learning curve, supplies, time, and likelihood of wastage due to mistakes seems like it's an awfully expensive way to get your designs onto items. Eventually your profit margin might be better, but it certainly does not look like you could ever get into any high-production mode. What am I missing here?

What will be the advantage of a DTG printer vs a sublimation print on a white 50/50 blend blank? The results of the sublimation look really good on the video I’m guessing it’ll look even better in person.

I'm not sure im still on the same ink so quite a bit I would say

I am not sure if you covered this or not, If you did I may have missed it. I'm looking to buy this Sublimation Printer, however, I have a lot of SVG's I've purchased with commercial license. Can you use SVG's with this printer to print for sublimation?

I always use the Teflon sheet, never used anything else.
I was wondering if you needed anything between the front and back of the shirt. Glad to see you did that. Is that something you still do? Have you had any trouble with it since?
How do you think this compares with vinyl ? This process seems much easier than applying htv. also is this just for T-shirts ?
There thousands of things to sublimate from t-shirts, phone cases, license plates, cups ect so many things. but when it comes to comparing it to vinyl its just another addition you are limited to using at least 50% polyester with the sublimation :) hope this helps

I just bought a craft pro! I’m curious - does your temp light flash and make a buzzing sound once the set temp is reached? My temp light stays steady until it reaches the set temp, then flashes and buzzes when the light flashes on. I’m trying to find out if this is normal.

Can you use multiple prints together and maybe place them so there is no seam and create an all over print with a smaller printer like that? Ive seen it done with those huge printers and one giant print

Hi there. I just came across your tutorial. I am new in this field, and am trying to get as much info as possible before i take the leap into purchasing a sublimation printer and a heat press. I just have a question regarding the printer. Can you do anything else on the Sawgrass printer besides printing.... Like i just mentioned i am new and i don't want to spend a lot of money at this point and time... seeing that its going to be used as a hobby and make gifts for the family. Would the Epson printer be just as good as the Sawgrass? I would appreciate it if you could be kind enough and give me some advice please. Thanking you in advance and take care and be safe. Great video! Can you use your own artwork in PDF format to print from? If I go with a sawgrass virtuoso SG1000, what size and model heat press you would recommend for t-shirts and hoodies etc, like to have enough room to print on XL XXL etc. Can you provide link to paper you use for shirts? Thanks!

I heard that if you use third party ink that it voids the warranty. Does anyone know if this is true?

This video was already one year old when I viewed it so this heat press and price does not seem to be available anymore. Most of the heat presses at HPN are so much higher. As a newbie to heat press can you suggest a good heat press within this price range $250-300. Thanks for your help and the great tutorials. I’m subscribed to your channel as I’m thinking about getting into making Tee shirts and I want to start out as affordable as possible to make sure I can work within the realms of sublimation. I do not have a circut machine so I’m trying to figure out what products I need to purchase first. This would be a hobby for me and I want to purchase the correct items needed.
