    What a sad and disappointing promotion of a wasteful and energy intense process introduced by the British to drain India's resources. Cotton bales make no sense and are only maintained to continue to feed a colonial heritage industry.
    There are are smart minds in South India that are looking to create mobile micro-spinning processors that can spin cotton right next to fields and ship cotton thread to weavers. Much not efficient and extra value addition for cotton farmers
