In a peaceful, lush green field, I work hard harvesting sweet potatoes, digging each one from the soil. After bringing them home, I dry them to prepare for making sweet potato sticky rice, a traditional dish of our countryside. The fragrant and delicious dish is a hit at the market, where everyone loves to buy it. Life may be simple, but it is filled with the rich flavors of home and the warmth of our community.
