i love how even tho its a foo fighters show, the second alice walks onto the stage, it straight up turns into alice cooper's show! gotta love a legend.
Love how the crowd went off like a bomb when Alice Cooper came out....That's the mark of a true living legend!! Even after the countless shows he's done for the last 40+ years, still gives it his all and loves what he does.... \m/ \m/
Retro Rocker hell yee, I’m 22 an I went to my first Alice cooper concert when I was in the 2nd grade, and I’ve seen him every time he’s in town since, the mans a living legend!!
The last chorus of School's Out here is insane. The fact that nobody in the crowd knew he was going to be there yet they all know the words is a testament to just how big of a song it is.
It was an amazing gig, the Foos were incredible... But Alice Cooper sure made my wife's evening. Not only was she wide-eyed and grinning like the Cheshire Cat when AC came on stage, but she excitedly said "That's just made my life! It was my life's ambition to see Alice Cooper"! Thanks...
I've never heard a crowd POP like that before. Saw Alice last year for the first time. I have never been more entertained. Still sounds great...so much stage presence.
The Foo Fighters 1st 2 albums are great but their later stuff got too radio friendly but they rose to the occasion in this concert, they rocked out!Now for them to get back to their roots, maybe even add Pat Smear in the mix!
I think they bring who ever is around on stage just to keep the band interested. Different songs in the set keeps them fresh and let's them honor those that blazed the path for them. Dave almost melts when the name McCartney comes up. He worships the guy
Alice is awesome. He rocks just as hard in front of 70,000 as he did when I saw him at the WV state fair in August, and there were perhaps 6,000 fans there! Best show I've ever saw!
Omg. What happened to the world that this isn’t happing every month Man I am so glad I am old Kids we saw this shit all the time back in the day. Never gets old Long live rock
you can see how TRULY stoked Dave and the boys are at having THE MASTER OF MACABRE grace their stage!! now THAT'S fluckin' AWESOME!!! Alice is one of a kind. just ask Dave!
Dave Grohl will be carrying on long after we in Alice's generation are gone. He has great reverence for his rock fore bearers. He's the very best of guys his age.
fam he opened for rob zombie at my concert in kentucky, the last show was kiss, i paid basically 300$ for all four days of 195 bands some with even bigger names, i lost my shit and don't even get me started on how big the crowds got for slipknot and red hot chili peppers, my favorite thou was seeing shinedown and cindy lou in person lol, incredible four days of rock
Alice Cooper is the one rock star who HAS NOT CHANGED PHYSICALLY since 1970.... A-fucking-ma-zing. His music and stage act prefigured Glam Rock, Punk, Grunge... Let's give a big hand to MADAME Cooper!
Went to see Motley Crue ONLY because Alice Cooper was the opening act. I never saw an opening act blow the doors off the headliner that hard in my life!! I had forgotten how many just GREAT songs Alice has and his band was stunning. I knew I had to see him on his own. He came through town 8 months later and played the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas. It was filmed for Axis TV. GREAT SHOW! Then saw him again and bought Meet and Greet tickets. But.....Covid screwed that up and didn't get to meet him. But still had a great time watching the master at his craft. His voice is still amazing after all these years....its so good, people don't realize it. It just IS!! Long live the King Alice Cooper!!
This is a awesome I met and seen Alice Cooper in concert sometime in the 70s I love him and his songs I'm eighteen and billion dollar babies are my favorites ❤love the Foos to and all there songs wish I could have seen them live ❤RIP Taylor Hawkins
F-----ing awsome!!! God, I'm itching to see Alice again...love him. Best damn show on the planet!!! Truly! Thank u 4 posting, man I'm rocking out here at my house right now!!!!!!! The rock happy dance!!
In 2006 Alice's daughter Calico Cooper starred in the motion picture Puppy which has become a cult classic home and abroad (Europe). We had the honor of creating the theme song for this cult classic. Hope you enjoy this as much as we did making it!
Alice Cooper was my first concert ever. Got to see him in August 2016, and it was legendary! Could smell weed all in the crowd lol. Won't ever forget it🤘🏻
I was there the atmosphere was like anything else I have witnessed. Doubt that there will be any concerts at Milton Keynes Bowl this year given covid-19. Good memories
Sitting here on my couch singing and dancing to Schools Out - for the second time in my life - this time at age 56 with a bottle of bubbly because my last child signed out of school today thus releasing me from my second stint of 20 years in the "system". First time we were dancing around outside the common room in our school uniforms aged 16 in December 1980 (having been evicted from the common room for crimes and misdemeanours I personally did not do). I am as overjoyed and relieved as the first time. No more school lunches to make. No more teachers dirty looks. No more being seated on baby chairs as an adult. No more repressing the need to roll my eyes. SCHOOLS OUT FOREVER!!!!!!
Hahaha I love the ending! Alice conducting FF for the grand finale was awesome xD FF were influenced by alice cooper and he's there kinda like their teacher. Anyone notice that after the last 'blow' when he stomped his foot the kick drum was timed perfectly with it? xD
For those who feel that the fighters arent instumental enough, dont respect the industry in general etc. I want you ALL to do one thing. Go over either on UA-cam , or there site (Fighters) and count all of the legends they've brought out on stage to perform with the Fighters with. Please stop the bs about the Foo Fighters don't respect the industry. Cheers to all of us Foo Fighting fans.!!!
+julesyyz I agree - just as a show of (tongue in cheek perhaps) )respect. But the Foos are one of the few bands that ARE worthy to share the stage with Alice.
Minor nitpicks: bass player didn't know Dennis Dunaway's octave jumping lines for "School's Out" on the bridge and lead guitarist got ahead of himself and started the solo on "Eighteen" too early. No one seems to have noticed, though, as everyone was watching Alice.
Daniel Monsivais Woah man, what's your problem? He just pointed out some minor mistakes in the performance. I love Foo Fighters but I wouldn't tell someone to kill themselves just because they corrected them...
Daniel Monsivais I wasn't THAT critical of the performance ("minor nitpicks"); it was fine for what it was and yes, the crowd loved it. (Regarding the latter, that's negligible praise because it is much easier to sway people's behavior in a huge crowd like that than say in a bar; check out "The Crowd" by Le Bon, or "The Mass Psychology of Fascism" by Reich.) My comment was just an objective assessment of the Foo Fighters' accompaniment MINUS the crowd's response; listen to the original studio versions with Buxton and Dunaway and decide for yourself. The Foo Fighters did reasonably well, but personally, I think it was rather disrespectful to Alice Cooper that they didn't know the material precisely. Killing myself wouldn't change that; it's just a fact.
Orlaylay Anonymous Thanks for your support. Mr. Monsivais is actually exhibiting one of the prime characteristics of the crowd mentality. In his view, I am a "traitor" to the crowd, and so must be eliminated, preferably by my own hand so as not to sully the conscience of anyone who is "with" the crowd. This is why Hitler used night rallies with big crowds for his political speeches, casting the non-Aryan types as the "traitors" to be eliminated for the rise of the Third Reich. Gustav Le Bon's book "The Crowd" (which is free on amazon) explains the workings of mass psychology very comprehensively. Check it out if you're interested.
Because I critiqued you, I now must be compared to Hitler? You must be a DEmocrat. All I said was that everyone enjoyed the songs (70,000) cheering, jumping and loving it, and here comes you with your bullshit nitpicking. Now I'm Hitler.....ok.
This is a true Freddie Mercury Live Aid moment. He has a whole audience that is not even there to see him (seeing as live aid was played to an audience who were there to see many bands, nto just Queen) screaming and singing along to his songs.
I was there. This made the night going from 110% awesome, to 257% awesome!! What this video doesn't have, is Dave Grohl going on for about 10 minutes afterwards, just babbling about how he just played with ALICE FUCKING COOPERRRRR
i love how even tho its a foo fighters show, the second alice walks onto the stage, it straight up turns into alice cooper's show! gotta love a legend.
Anything that involves Alice, you KNOW it’s going to be FANTASTIC !!! I’ve loved that man since 1970 at 12 years of age, and still do.
@Retro Rocker ...actually its 50+ years pretties for you came out in 69
David Santa Maria I saw my first Alice Cooper concert in 1975 it was called, welcome to my nightmare. I was 28 years old.
Saw him in Aberdeen Scotland in 2019 at Halloween, flawless show, seen him three times. Ultimate show man.
The last chorus of School's Out here is insane. The fact that nobody in the crowd knew he was going to be there yet they all know the words is a testament to just how big of a song it is.
One of the heaviest songs from the 70's...
ChernovFan100 the world wouldn't be the world as we know it without School's Out! Such an iconic song...
And yet they wrote it and had it mastered in something stupid like 2 hours.
Thanks...
Saw Alice year ago he rocks! His band rocks! A must see
I've never heard a crowd POP like that before. Saw Alice last year for the first time. I have never been more entertained. Still sounds great...so much stage presence.
I loved the Foo Fighters before, but having respect for Alice makes me love and respect them even more!
I do not care about the Foo Fighters. They are fine. But DAMN they can kick ass when there is a God on stage.
Walter Mirren Then again, more props to the Foos for backing off and letting Alice take over. AT LEAST THERE IS ONE HONEST FUCKING ROCK BAND LEFT.
I was there and can confirm that this did indeed fucking rock
Saw Alice on the trashes the world tour !! He lights the stage on fire ! You guy only gotta a taste !

Alice is awesome. He rocks just as hard in front of 70,000 as he did when I saw him at the WV state fair in August, and there were perhaps 6,000 fans there! Best show I've ever saw!
Omg. What happened to the world that this isn’t happing every month
Man I am so glad I am old

you can see how TRULY stoked Dave and the boys are at having THE MASTER OF MACABRE grace their stage!!
now THAT'S fluckin' AWESOME!!!
Alice is one of a kind.
just ask Dave!
First there was the Beatles.
And then there was Alice.
That’s the history of Rock.
If you get the chance to see Alice DO IT! Its a HELL of a show!!!
First saw Alice in 1975 (aged 14) last saw Alice 2017.............I'm sure I'll see him again
Dave Grohl will be carrying on long after we in Alice's generation are gone. He has great reverence for his rock fore bearers. He's the very best of guys his age.
He learned from the best and is now passing down that knowledge down,
fam he opened for rob zombie at my concert in kentucky, the last show was kiss, i paid basically 300$ for all four days of 195 bands some with even bigger names, i lost my shit and don't even get me started on how big the crowds got for slipknot and red hot chili peppers, my favorite thou was seeing shinedown and cindy lou in person lol, incredible four days of rock
Alice F'ing Cooper !!! Amazing Performance Combo-Amazing Audience!!
They seemed to having a great time doing songs from others artist but they were pumped up with Alice Cooper singing. Got to love the Foo Fighters.
Alice Cooper is the one rock star who HAS NOT CHANGED PHYSICALLY since 1970.... A-fucking-ma-zing.
His music and stage act prefigured Glam Rock, Punk, Grunge... Let's give a big hand to MADAME Cooper!
Mr. Alice "Fucking" Cooper is a flipping Rock and Roll Icon!

Hahaha I love the ending! Alice conducting FF for the grand finale was awesome xD FF were influenced by alice cooper and he's there kinda like their teacher. Anyone notice that after the last 'blow' when he stomped his foot the kick drum was timed perfectly with it? xD

Wow we all know Alice Cooper nails it but just wow to the foo fighters, excellent performance
When I was in high school they would blast this song from the loudspeakers on the last day of school. It was great.
40 years later and Rocks the house. Kudos, Foo Fighters and Coop.

Foos should have fell to there knees and said
"We're not worthy!"

I think it happened because Foo were watching Alice too! Haha
