Whats your budget for alarms ? I've got some prologic smx alarms you can have for cheap.. never been used bought them as a spare set and thinking my son would come wi me but he don't like it..3 alarms and reciever all blue
Great job as usual. I have a question. Are UK waters commercial or public? If so, is the challenge of catching carp comparable or much more difficult in public fisheries? like in my country for example. Greetings to English carp anglers.
We don't have many truly public waters like you get in say France or Belgium. Most of our lakes are commercial (run as a business) or controlled by a club/syndicate. I don't really fish the commercial lakes but I think they can be quite challenging due to how heavily fished they get.
Gaz what the hell are you doing going out in a boat in waders I know two anglers that have died due to the boat capsizing and waders filling up. Don't get complacent life to short.
One of the best iv seen on poo tube for a long time..... you know i thought who is this plonker acting like simon crow etc. Then a pic of you came up on the blog with your jackson 5 hair do on an i thought haha no way as if its you. Sorry an fantastic pal 👍 😉
I wouldn't use a 10oz in the first place the 30lb would get stuck in the weed anyway and then a boat trip to pick it up unless he's prepared to drag a carp by its mouth through a weed field lol

@@lg3784 That is interesting. I had no idea. I'll check it out. I'd still always say it is a silly thing to do. it must add risk in some way. I'll see if I can find it.
Can u explain why please. I've fished at range on big pits etc. I've had 3oz leads moved in undertow. But 10 oz seems a little extreme. But then I remember when 3lb tc rods n 3 oz leads were extreme
Braid in a breaking strain similar to commonly used mono would be ridiculously thin and fragile, you need a decent diameter to withstand abrasion, which will catch the undertow.. With a long length of braid out there, it will also collect weed and other debris, the issue being hugely exacerbated by the distance being fished and the massive undertow that can form on a proper big pit. I've had six Oz gripper leads moved by undertow in the past, so ten guarantees it won't move
That was great . We’ll done !!!
Wicked watch and wat a mega one at the end mate
Lovely film and fish Gaz. 🙂

What happens if you get a take on first rod while you're 160 yards out in the lake placing rod #4
You get back an turn the camera on! Then run to the rod 😂

All sorts from public, open access waters to private lakes. Most are club waters or privately owned that you buy a day or season ticket for.

Think Links not a flouro ?
Enjoyable was as always, but I'd say 98% of carp waters in the UK don't let people use a boats unless its to free a snagged fish.
The rules state no maggots, casters or worms. Did you get special permission or have the rules changed?
Qaulity 🎣👊😎

WTF are you on about?
Hit the boat like u did on other side 😂
Carping has just gotten completely crazy. Total over kill now on all the equipment. It's ridiculous
Dumping 10z leads wtf shocking
You’d play a mid 30 in weed with a 10oz lead swinging around would you? That’s Shocking…. Lol

Epic video, but Gaz - you need to stop going in the boat while wearing waders. If the worst happens and you go over, that'll be the end of you, mate.
Waders won’t drown you

10 oz leads. Lol
And 40lb braid 😂😂😂😂😂
Clearly never fished a PROPER lake with PROPER CARP!
it's defo needed!
Love to see someone try to put a bait out there on twelve pound mono and a three ounce lead 😂
Extreme situations require the correct approach...
