He didn't die. He woke up from dead.
How I love to hear his singing just this melody of HK mantra.. It was from the heart, and it was opening of others hearts too ..and it is still sounding this through the Universe..Than you for this unforgettable times..

Тебя предали твои друзья, твои близкие ученики с Коршнаса, которые жили за твой счёт и кормили свои семьи за счёт денег ВВТ. Ученики других гуру не знали что нам сказать. Некоторые открыто оскорбляли тебя, ещё больше усугубляли рану в сердцах твоих учеников. Случилось настоящее горе. Весь мир ушёл из-под ног. Через полгода отошёл от активного служения. Прошло 20 лет, но в сердце нет ни оскорбления к преданным, ни к Прабхупаде ни к тебе, дорогой мой учитель.

Does anyone remember another ISKCON guru named Visnupad? He initiated many devotees in South Australia during the 1980s. He was based in America (at least he had an American accent) and appeared on several videos promoting Krsna consciousness. No contemporary devotees claim to remember him (although they seem agitated and somewhat embarrassed when I ask about him), and those devotees who were around during the 1980s have all disappeared.

Hoopie Frond, we have not all disappeared, many of us are still around. Although very disheartened when our Guru Bhavananda "Vishnupada" fell down, my husband and I took shelter of Srila Prabhupada and are still serving Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON after 43 years.

This is tipical try to put all the blame on the others. Harikesh posed himeself as a pure vaisnav and an acariya and we trusted him. We ahd ful faith in him because at that time he convinced us he was following Srila Prabhupada strictly. However, he left us bitterly dissapointed after he spat on Prabhupad and evreything he was living for 28 years., Of corse. We let ourselves dissapointed because we where naive. Now we are smarter and wiser. we will never let him dissapoint us again!

I meet this swami back in the 80ties and he was worshipped like a God and his arrogance knew no limit, I remember on one occasion where he had to be hospitalised, because he claimed that his inner organs (heart, lungs) etc had disseapered!!!. Later I read on website that he had become a multimillionare after leaving ISCKON.

At first I thought you titled this video in this way to make a point that leaving ISKCON is equivalent to dying or something, but now I think that you just may not realize that "in memory of" is normally used for diseased people. I don't know where you are from, but check your English dictionary. It would be a good idea to change the title of this video, if you didn't mean to proclaim him dead. It's just weird otherwise. Boris Popovich it is clear by the dates 1947-1998 that this title is taunting and cynical towards vishnupad's abandonment of ISKCON in 1998 yet at the same time celebratory of his achievements.

BTW, Harikesh was as good or as bad as lots of
other "gurus" - be them from ISKCON, Gaudiya Math etc.
They were/are instrumental to start you up
