I believe punctures are something that naturally belongs to cycling.. I dont drive so much as you do, but those times I "tried" a sealant it never worked well. And to clean it after and apply a patch was harder that to just apply a patch.. I had a tube with 4 overlaped patches and it was still working ;) I did not notice a small dark piramid-shaped stone in and it did several punctures till I found it. I have just watched one world-around-cycling guy. Look at this sewing that he did in the middle of nowhere! Rough day alright! It shows how problem solving is a big part of multi-day bike riding. Hopefully day 30 works out okay. Willing you on from NZ.
