Nice rig! I’m guessing you guys have another unit that carries all your lumber and shore panels for trench and structure collapse?? I’m wanting to see a rescue rig that carries all this equipment and don’t think I’ve found one yet.
We have published a walk-around video with equipment in place and other operational aspects mentioned. The video is available on our channel "Rescue 1 In-service Walk-around"
I dont understand the gas contanination ? does something give off gasses you cary in there? hell of a paint job on that thing wow! i love the LED lights too
+jay bradley Gas vapors can damage life safety rope and we didn't want to take any chances of any of the gas powered equipment and/or the fuel stored in that compartment to vent into the compartment where our ropes are stored. Thanks for comment!
+ClaytonFireDeptNC Oh ok So you mean gasoline powered stuff yea i can see that thanks, i live in Winston Salem and our fire dept is called Midway Fire Dept, they look like they have some older trucks, this is really nice one here, so how much does one of those cost 300-400,000?
No it does not. An Engine company responds along with R1 for firefighting needs. We do carry an assortment of portable extinguishers (water cans, dry chem, etc).
+Joseph Hankins Our other rescue was sold to Brindlee Mtn Fire Apparatus. We do still have an older e-one pumper/tanker that has been moved into a "reserve" status for our Engines.
Miss you brother!
Beautiful rig!
