  • Madison County Fire Department is enhancing their fleet by adding an #Enforcer #NonWalkInHDR to effectively meet the needs of their growing community.
A Setcom Wireless Communication System will increase firefighter safety by allowing them to listen and communicate to one another while protecting the firefighter’s hearing from loud noises on scene. An EMS cabinet will keep medical gear and equipment protected and dry for peak performance.
Along the body compartments all storage configurations are ergonomically designed for firefighters. The first compartment on the driver’s side, bottom shelf, has a pull out-tray to protect the firefighter’s back when retrieving or returning equipment. The middle tray is transverse and extends out of the truck when deployed to reach equipment from either side of the apparatus. The top tray has a tilt-down feature to mitigate the height of the truck and to allow all firefighters the ability to easily grab equipment.
The rear compartment bottom shelf has a pull-out tray that provides ease of access to heavy items such as a portable generator. Above this space there is a long slide-out tray that will store items such as their shoring jacks. The long length of the tray will provide firefighters the capability to easily reach equipment. At the top of the rear compartment, they have a designated space for a stokes basket. This rear design will support firefighter’s ergonomics when retrieving or returning tools and equipment at their designated location.
On the officer’s side, a pull-out tray holds poly storge. The poly storage will be used for chains and heavier equipment. A benefit of the poly trays is that they may be removed from the truck to any location on scene for the use of the equipment it holds.
The spacious officer’s seat has access to controls to run the sirens, federal cue, siren brake, radio and computer.
On the front bumper extension, a storage box will hold chains and other equipment. A removable 10,000-lb winch on the front bumper has the capability to be operated on all sides of the apparatus.
The onboard generator will power a night scan light and remote-operated light tower. They have the capability to light up the scene 360-degrees around the apparatus with those lights in addition to their surround scene lighting.
Their combination department is located in Western Tennessee. #JacksonTN is a semi-rural area with sections of commercial, residential and industrial areas. They have several state routes and a major interstate that run through their county.

Very nice rescue. Just the right amount of compartment space for the everyday equipment.
The perfect size rig for 98% of the fire departments.
The giant tandem axle cookie cutter rescues are an absolute waste of money for the majority of the departments that purchase them.

I really like the emergency light on the Diesel/DEF door! It would be great to open that for additional lighting to the rear to protect firefighters working by the truck on busy or narrow roads. A Whelen RotaBeam would work nicely there to act as a mini traffic advisor to move vehicles further away from the truck.

The amber lights on the front of the mirrors are nice & rare to see on fire trucks. Are they parking lights, turn signals, or both?
