The tracking focus is a good feature, but you should disable it in low lighting conditions, because then you cannot reduce the unnecessary artificial light with the normal exposure slider that's present in the camera app.
I do not have "Show date & location info" as an option in settings? I am using a Note 20 Ultra on AT&T. BTW I AM able to have stabilisation & tracking auto-focus both enabled at the same time.

Just one thing, if you enable Tracking auto focus it does turn off video stabilization. And i think you need to be in the 30 fps mode for it. So i only enable it if i really need it.

Hi saki, the track autofocus along with few other options under settings are not highlighted and its not allowing to edit few of the settings. Need a complete detailed tutorial kind a video on samsung camera settings.
A caviat with the auto focus is you cannot use it on 8k mode and neither on 60fps (UHD). Took me a minute or so to find out why my auto focus was grayed out and couldn't be toggle on. I usually record on 60fps.

How do you turn the stupid tracking off!!!??? I zoom in and the damn camera keeps moving left and right when I've zoomed in completely! Out of the gate, I have an A-71 and that first menu you showed, mine looks nothing like it. and I haven't found the there's tracking autofocus. I'm in Canada, so I am finding often my menus and options differ from other countries...

My elderly Mom doesn't own a smartphone. She can't make my smartphone S21 Ultra take a picture of me. It only works about 5% of her tries to quicly touch the shutter button. Does anyone have any suggestions on how for her to take pictures with my phone. I tried setting accessibility settings with different length touches but that didn't help. I also thought about just saying "Smile" using the voice commands for the camera. We got that to work some of the time but many times that doesn't work for me either. She gets very frustrated by this and doesn't even want to try taking pics of me anymore. She sometimes gets it take a GIF. Most of the time the shutter button turns RED when she tries to touch it. On my old S10 she would get bursts of like 10 pics everytime she touched the shutter. Help please.
Richard, my daughter's godfather, hates cellphone videography. He's a Director of Photography and does documentaries. He thinks the cellphone doesn't allow him to control the camera this way has other cameras do.

The location setting being turned on is dangerous. If you, like most people, take pictures and then upload them to Facebook and other platforms, you can see when and where that photo was taken. Research this before turning on the location settings please.

As usual...good stuff. Some of these functions were introduced on earlier Note models, but we tend to forget that they are still available.

If you have your camera to the highest recording resolution at 60fps it won't let you activitate it. You have to use the 30fps

True, but also depends on phone. My 20 Ultra can do it in all resolutions except 4K 60fps.

keep in mind these settings are not available on all Galaxy's Just Flagship. Auto Tracking and a lot of these setting arn't even here on A51 52 etc

Great phone, but a shame it can not record decent quality audio in videos. My older A10 has far superior sound quality.

If You have a Galaxy A21s, all of these are already done from New, And you cannot change them.

It is a car in real life, just a very small toy car in real life :-)

Unfortunately the A12 does not see to have that auto focus tracking feature in it, i cannot find it if it does?

All my A10 photos are so "smokey" looking... Awful awful photos compared to the S10 I had. I'm so overwhelmingly disappointed.
