You would need to cut away and remove the drywall for the specific section that needs the studs to be added. Add the new studs nailing them into the exists 2x4s and then would have to re drywall.
Don't need to tear away dry wall. Just use a thick enough piece of ply wood, nail ply wood at both ends of studs then hang your TV brackets off of the the plywood. The plywood would be sturdy and metal anchors are recommended for lasting long term effectiveness

My tv is too heavy for drywall anchors.
How should I add some 2x4s in between the studs which are 23" on center.

Ty
Why would my anchor fall through into the wall does that mean it’s not long enough?
It probably didn't catch onto the drywall and instead created more of a hole
The sheetrock could've been weak
Thanks!!!
You are welcome!
Thank you 😊
You are very welcome. Thanks for watching!
Take care brother 🙏
this is hillarious
No it’s not, I used them 4 of them to hang a 3.5 ft shelf within 2 days it fall down. Which I was in disbelief.
Use a screw driver to puncture the wall first, then screw the anchor in.
not a true test then, if not 75lb tested.
Lol
