Shilpa Pandey's case is very different ... i checked her linkedin profile ... she has been in the US for several years working (h1b) and also has a masters in industral engineering from UT Arlington ... so she has the right credentials for the job ... unlike newcomers from south asian countries who have to struggle a lot before they can get to this position ... possibly may take up to 10 years easily ....so guys do your own research and don't jump to conclusions that everything is rosy in canada

Thanks Shilpa and Navjot for covering and discussing many important aspects. One thing... How is she and people coping with the extreme winters there? How difficult is it for Indians to get used to it? Awaiting your response. Thanks

If you have never seen North American winter, 1st winter will be challenging no matter you’re in Toronto or Calgary. I haven’t witnessed Calgary winters but I have been in the coldest weather of -35 and average weather of -25. One thing that differs in Calgary than other areas in winters is the sunlight. Being near to Mountains, this City gets it a lot even in winters. I have read and even been told by many colleagues. I hope this clears your doubt. Thank you.
