Fair play, great to see you are honest in your job, it a hard thing to find a corroded wire within a casing , especially when you think it's out of harm's way. 100% lad, thanks for video.
@@sukhbirmandair1690 if you are having the same issue?? Try swapping the short piece of wiring harness between the front hub/bearing and the chassis, it is the same on both sides 👍
Same problem in my astra but along with speedometer, rev, fuel and temperature gauge are not working too. But odometer is working. Everything else is working fine, drives fine. First time the problem came, i disconnected the negative from battery and i guess that reset the whole thing and all guage started working but the problem came back again and this time no luck. Do you think it is ecu fault? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
ECU’s don’t fail that often but lots of technicians do blame them regularly to avoid having to try find the problem or admitting that they can’t. Start by doing a full system scan and interrogating the fault codes for direction 🤔🤔 It is probably going to be a wiring or contact fault

My Astra is doing exactly the same thing. Many thanks for this video as at least I know where the problem is likely to be. Liked and subscribed.
Thank you very much Robert, hopefully it helps you find the problem 🤞🤞

I’m sorry Sukhbir but I don’t understand the question???
Once I had repaired the 2 broken wires the problem was resolved & it was fixed.
@@kennedysgarage3281 misread comment, and video caption and watched to the end! ... fingers crossed 🤞 I'll find the fix tomorrow. Nice one !
