I certainly enjoy running the boats is the rougher weather. If we had it our way, we would do that every time. However, the shoots are scheduled pretty far out and we are rolling the dice as to what kind of weather we will experience on shoot day. Glad you enjoy it when it happens though!
I agree with another comment, seeing the boat out on glassy water doesn't tell us much of anything since those days are pretty much the 1% of your time on the water. Well, unless you're running something like an MTI or Skater racing cat that is . . . Very nice review of the boat! How noticeable was the whine/whistle from the Seakeeper after you closed the equipment room hatch? When you opened that up I ALMOST ended watching the rest of the video because it was so damned annoying. If it's audible with the hatch closed that would be a deal breaker for me and my wife, since we're both VERY sensitive to higher frequencies.
I agree with youself and the other comment about testing in rough weather.... Unfortunately, we can't plan these on rough weather day and must shoot on the day we have alocated. The whine isn't something that I recall hearing when the hatch was closed, although I wasn't specifically listening for it. But I would think I would be able to hear it if it were loud enough. Pretty sure it wouldn't be an issue for you and the family.
Love when you show boats in less than optimal weather. It gives an actual idea of the how the bit handles some chop.

How can you even fish that from the transom? Especially in rough water??
I believe you are meant to fish from the aft cockpit instead of on the swim platform.
Good afternoon!!
Loved Formula boats when I was a kid. This is one the ugliest boats I’ve ever seen. Bummer to see such a thing from this brand.
Looked pretty good in my opinion. But, that's why there are other brands ;)
