Belo Blato Kobasicijada 2024 - Serbian Sausage Party

3-4. February 2024. The thumbnail is both the most accurate depiction of what happened and the most tragic depiction of what happened. My cousin Jacob and I attended the tenth annual Kobasicijada sausage festival in Belo Blato with an overnight stay at nearby Kaštel Ečka. The intention was to spend two days tasting the finest of hairy pig (Mangalica) meats available in all of Serbia and bring as much possible back home to Vršac. We ended up drunk on rakija instead, with no meat to show for it. Well. There's always next year! Or, better yet, Slaninijada in Kačarevo next week!
